of Animals and too much free time

As they were usually alone in the North, where other Nations rarely went (except for a sauna holiday, or Norway coming up for some catching up), Finland found himself with a lot of free time.
Sweden usually occupied his time revising documents for his boss, but Tino liked to let his humans fend off for themselves, as learning through experience was his kind of deal, so he always found himself with a lot of spare time.
So, he used to have long walks around, and that was when he found a way to keep himself occupied -everything started with a snow bunny caught in a trap, his leg broken and bloody.
Tino found his mission then... seek for hurt animals to nurse back to health.
He left the house early in the morning with Hana-Tamago following him, methodically hunting down the traps and collecting all sorts of poor, cute animals that hunters tried to catch, saving them and bringing them to the house he shared with Sweden.
Sweden was now used to Tino's wanderings, and somehow awaited in amused curiosity for the next poor animal would enter their threshold. Of course, that also brought in an usual, kind of not as welcome, moment...
"Berwald!"
Tino ran into the room, holding what looked like a plushie, fluffier version of a quite panicky squirrel, that tried fruitlessly to get out of the nation's arms. Berwald turned around, blinking and waiting for Tino to continue.
"Look at how cute it is! He was trapped in the woods, so I freed him" eyes brightened up at him. "I'll nurse Exploding Tag of d00m back to health!"
Berwald's face didn't twitch nor twist from his usual blank expression, but somehow, something had to change because Tino squealed and took a step back. "Ah, sorry, I didn't think I'd be bothering you!" he gasped out, looking everywhere for a way to pacify the taller man.
Very slowly, Berwald turned around and fought the urge to slap his own face. "M' w'fe h's no f'sh'n s'nse" he murmured, shuffling with some documents.
"W'ldn't 'nt it any d'ff'rent...th'gh" he added to himself after a last look at a fidgeting Tino.
For the whole time the poor squirrel remained in their house, he was humbly named Tag.
