Canada's Pest Problems

The G8 meeting had been suspicously normal-well at least as normal as it ever was. America had only suggested one plan involving building a gaint hero to fix the ozone layer, France had been able to do more then glance suggestivly at N.Italy, before backing down due to S.Italy and Germany's combined glare power, and Russia hadn't sat on Canada this time.
England should have known that it was too good to last.
The meeting was wrapping up when Canada suddenly looked at his watch and said, "I have to go home and set up pest traps."
"Oh," America nodded sympathically. "I understand. Immigrants."
"I'm not you." He rolled his eyes. "I welcome new people. It's for house hippos."
Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared. Except for N. Italy and Russia, who smiled like usual.
"Pardon?" England asked after nobody spoke.
"House Hippos. You know they live in your closets in nests made out of lost mittens and dryer lint? They eat all my potato chips and peanut butter toast during the night when they come out. Plus they get into fights with Kuma-chan, because he upsets them. You have them in your house too" He added nodding at America.
"Um.." America said.
"Of course. See you next week, goodbye." He nodded again before walking out of the room.
Everyone stood around in stunted slience. Finally France turned to England.
