Matthew blew another lungful of smoke toward the television, before breaking into giggles as the smoke obscured the screen. Arthur raised an eyebrow at this ridiculous behavior, but shrugged at Alfred's glance.
The American was slumped in his seat between the two, still doing his best to look disapprovingly at them both. Arthur studied him from the corner of an eye as he took another swig from the bottle.
At least he had given up his self-richous ranting. It was too odd, watching the boy imitate the look he himself so often wore.
He simply didn't have the eyebrows for it, Arthur concluded and allowed his attention to be drawn back to the other as he burst again into a series of alternating coughs and giggles. He mentally tutted at him, but couldn't very well say anything; not with his own romps with the dragon so fresh in his memory. But did they really have to watch this?
He took another drink, watching the man on the television attempt to unload yet another load of useless crap into the world. It was only when Alfred shifted uncomfortably that he realized that he had been clenching and relazing his hand in irritation. Said hand happened to be, at the moment, slightly further south than the American appeared comfortable with.
Arthur considered correcting the situation, but screw it. Let Alfred squirm for once. In fact, he leaned a little closer, letting the liquor take the blame for his apparent lack of consideration. Within moments, he had slid his head onto Alfred's shoulder, and his hand down between his knees. The American twitched, the disapproving look faultering as he blushed.
By no means did his teasing escape the attention of Matthew, however amused he was by the television. He watched carefully, drawing in another breath through the pipe, slowly and quietly. Alfred's attention was no longer on him, so he flailed momentaily as the Canadian grasped the sides of his face gently in his hands and pressed their lips together.
Looking calmly into his near-brother's panicked eyes as he did so, Matthew parted his lips and passed the smoke gently to him.
Alfred choked at first, taking it too quickly, and coughed erratically.
"You need to chill out..." Matthew stated matter-of-factly, lighting another hit. Finishing his coughing fit, Alfred glared indignantly at him.
"You know it's wrong..." He began, but Arthur interrupted another speech from Captain America by drawing his palm up the inside of his thighs. Alfred jumped, having forgotten about the appendage's position.
"I do believe the boy has a point..." Arthur agreed, his choice of words earning him a raspberry from Matthew. But he grinned anyway, and set his pipe away from harm.
Alfred began to sputter indignantly, and was silenced by Matthew's finger against his lips. The finger was replaced quickly by his lips, and he passed another hit to Alfred, taking time to savor the press and heat between them. He even had a second to run his tongue against the inside of Alfred's mouth before being shoved away.
With apparent concentration, Alfred released the smoke in a small cloud, and managed to spare himself the coughing fit.
"See? Don't you feel better?" Matthew asked, tilting his head to the side in a truly adorable manner. And oddly enough, he did. His head felt fuzzy, and so intent was he on this that he didn't resist as Arthur slid an arm behind his back to encircle his waist. At the lack of resistence, Arthur grinned over Alfred's shoulder at Matthew, who winked back.
