"Well of course he is! It's quite obvious, America," Arther fumed. Ivan simply laughed and kneeled down in front of the boy, still towering over him.
"So you are America. Приятно познакомиться," he said and lightly petted the boy's blond hair that resembled his brother's. America looked at Ivan with a confused look on his face before smiling at him. Ivan figured that he wouldn't know any Russian. It wasn't like it was necessary for him to learn yet. He took his hand off America and glanced down at the rabbit.
"And who would this be?"
"It's just a bunny."
"He doesn't have a name?" America shook his head.
"Hmm..." Ivan thought for a moment, "How about Peter? Peter sounds nice for a rabbit, don't you agree?" America held the rabbit up so he was looking at it face to face, considering the suggested name Ivan gave him, then nodded.
"I think he likes the name. So Peter it is!" Ivan chuckled at seeing America act as though the rabbit was real. He remembered how he used to be that innocent when he was young. Sadly things had changed as he got older and it was all a distant memory now.
"Now now, America," Arther interjected, ruining the pleasant moment the two were having, "You should run off and play. Russia, would you like some tea?" Ivan sat up and shook his head, while America stood there pouting.
"No need. I brought vodka with me in case I needed something to drink."
"Well you better not be planning on drinking it in front of the boy. I don't want him to be surrounded by those kinds of things."
"Oh don't be silly. I was hardly any older than America when I was introduced to vodka and look where I am now."
"That's precisely the point." Ivan felt something tug at his pant leg and looked down to see it America.
"Will you play house with me?" America asked with the adorable pout still on his face. Arther sighed and his palm against his forehead.
"America, I don't think Russia wants to-"
"Of course I will," Ivan interrupted, "How can one say no to a face like that?" Arther immediately gave up and America beamed with victory. Even if Arther had become mostly immune to America's cute charms, that didn't mean Ivan was. Besides Ivan needed something to do while he stayed at Arther's place. He hadn't really thought out what he was going to do once he was there anyway except avoiding whatever Arther decided to cook for dinner. That was something everyone planned on doing whenever they came over Arther's house.
"What are the rules of house, if I may ask?" America was surprised to hear that Ivan knew nothing about the game, but he was glad to teach someone so left in the dark. It made him feel like an adult.
"It's easy! We just have to act like one big, happy family! I'm the daddy, and Peter's the baby. England is normally the mommy, but he doesn't do a good job at it. So you can be the mommy instead."
"Since when was I a bad mommy," Arther asked, insulted to hear that from the child he practically raised.
"You don't treat him nice, and you give him tummy aches. There's also that one time you gave him a bath with all the stinky clothes. That's just icky." Again, Arther gave up.

Приятно познакомиться - Nice to meet you. I think. I used a translator, ok? D:

"America speaks the truth. You must be loving and gentle to the baby, yes?" Both America and Arther nodded in agreement, Arther a bit more guiltly.
"You should call me hubby since I'm the daddy," America insisted, "Or just Alfred."
"Just Alfred," Ivan mimicked, realizing that it was America's real name, "I'd rather call you hubby." Alfred grinned from ear to ear and reached up a hand to try to grasp Ivan's. Ivan quickly noticed this, and lowered one of his arms, his other arm still holding the rabbit, so Alfred was able to wrap his tiny hand around his index and middle finger. He was amazed at how small and soft a child's hand could be, but it was expected from someone that had never laid hands on a weapon yet.
"Come on! Let's play," Alfred urged Ivan and pulled him towards the next room. Ivan allowed himself to be lead by the child into the next room. He saw that in the room there were toys scattered everywhere including toys soliders and wooden blocks. Thinking back to the time he played with own toys, he felt nostalgic once more. Alfred had let go of his fingers once they made it over to the couch, so he sat down on it while watching Alfred run over to his toys. He came back a moment later with an empty baby bottle and handed it to Ivan.
"Peter needs to be fed," Alfred explained, "Make sure he gets burped too after he eats. You do that by patting him on the back." Ivan nodded and placed the tip of the bottle in front of the rabbit as though it was drinking from it.
"He has a big appetite. That is good for a growing child," Ivan commented. Alfred was pleased to hear that and started to make his way back to his toys.
"I have to go to work now. Take care," Alfred said as he went off. Ivan paused from feeding the stuffed rabbit to wave at Alfred then continued what he was doing. It may have just been a simple game, but Ivan had to admit it was kind of fun so far. He never had much of a real family, maybe the Romanovs if their rule lasts a while, but he couldn't say that for certain. So it was nice to have a little pretend familiy just for a while. He noticed that Alfred was looking his way and figued now was the time to burp the baby. So he put the bottle aside and patted the rabbit's back until it seemed fit to stop. Alfred seemed to approve his actions, and went back to playing. This went on for about an hour until Arther came into the room.
"How is everything?" Arther asked, hoping that Alfred wasn't being too much of a nuisance. Alfred stopped running around in circles with his arms out while making bird-like noises to look at Arther.
"Great! Russia makes a good mommy," Alfred answered. Arther seemed to grimace at Alfred's reply, but it soon faded when he looked at Ivan. Ivan turned his head and smiled up at Arther.
"We are having a lot of fun. You need not worry."
---
Little note: I'm sure you're wondering who's the boss. It's Peter the Great. He was one of the first Romanovs to rule Russia, and during his rule he went over to Europe to try to modernize Russia. Hence why Russia is there, and the rabbit's name.

"Well I finished some things I had to do, I thought I might as well join you guys since I had nothing else to do. So where can I fit in this familiy?" Alfred only had to think about it for a second before he waved his arms franticly about in response to the idea he'd thought of.
"I know! You can be the fairy godmother!" Ivan and Arther both stared at Alfred in shock.
"Why do you think I should be the fairy godmother of all things?"
"That's easy. There was that one time you got drunk and dressed up as an-" Arther was already over there and clamped his hand over Alfred's mouth before he could finish. There were some things that were not meant to be shared with other people. Especially Ivan. He needed to make sure Alfred to tucked in extra tight when he decided to go out to drink. Ivan didn't question what Alfred was going to say and simply laughed.
"My my. Hubby is certainly a smart boy. I agree with you being the fairy godmother if he believes it should be so."
"Well fine! This fairy godmother is off to go make dinner," Arther fumed and took his hand off Alfred.

"Don't bother setting another plate on my behalf," Ivan said as he watched Arther stomp out of the room. Alfred stuck out his tongue and tried to wipe his mouth clean with his sleeves. He never liked the taste of Arther's hands. Maybe that was why his food didn't taste good either. He dashed over to Ivan and tugged on his pant leg again.
"Let's go outside while we wait," Alfred suggested. Ivan didn't see the harm in that so he stood up from the couch, and held the boy's hand with his two fingers like last time. Alfred lead him out of the room, back into the hall, past the kitchen where Arther was preparing to cook god knows what, and out into the backyard. Ivan observed how lovely the yard looked. It was perfect for someone like Alfred to run around and play in since the area was so wide, not the mention the trees were good enough to climb on when he'd go through his adventurous stage.
"Daddy would like to spend time with the baby," Alfred requested, pointing to the rabbit. Ivan understood what that meant and handed it back to him. Alfred cuddled the stuffed animal in his arms and ran out into the field. Ivan wasn't sure what to do at this point, so he decided that following him might be best. He noticed that Alfred had crouched down in front of some flowers, so he did the same.
"They're pretty, aren't they?" Ivan asked. Alfred bobbed his head.
"I like roses the most though. They're really pretty. England likes them too. Does mommy like them too?" Ivan shrugged his shoulders a bit.
"I suppose, but I prefer sunflowers more," Ivan admitted. Judging from the confused appearance on Alfred's face, he could tell he hardly knew what they were. He was about to explain it to him when Alfred started picking the flowers, almost all the yellow ones to be exact, and offered the bouquet to Ivan.
"Good daddys give their mommy presents, right? So I'm giving you one. Besides, I like you so you can have as many sunflowers as you want. I don't think Arther will mind." Ivan was speechless. Obviously Alfred assumed that sunflowers meant yellow flowers since they were the same color. Instead of telling him that wasn't the case, he accepted the bouquet and gave Alfred a kiss on the cheek.
"Ты такая милая. Thank you." Alfred just blushed and stared down at the rabbit.
"America! Dinner's almost ready," Arther called out.
"I should probably be heading home then," Ivan said, which caused Alfred to frown. The two stood up and made their way back inside. Arther showed Ivan to the door and he bowed to him in thanks.
"I had a great time. Maybe America can come over my house sometime and become one with Russia. That would be nice, yes?"
"When hell freezes over!" Arther shouted and slammed the door shut. Well that was one way of saying good bye to someone. He knew he'd get over it. Until then, he couldn't wait to gain the opportunity to see Alfred again. He liked the idea of him being together with him as one, big happy family.
Sadly the next time he saw Arther, Alfred wasn't living with him anymore. And the next time he saw him, he wasn't a little boy anymore. The flowers had wilted, and so did Alfred's childhood.
He should've known better than to take a child's game seriously.
