Canada and America have had a long history with one another, as well as a love-hate relationship. (Granted, it was a lot more love than it was hate.) Others have always wondered why they haven’t married yet, but truth be told, they were happy living just the way they are. It’s been this way since they were younger and probably will always be like this.
Their relationship started when they were young teenagers. After getting mad at England for being a shitty father who didn’t understand that America needed his freedom, America ran away. He didn’t run far-across the street, to the abandoned house beside France’s house. Sure, it wasn’t that far away from home, but it was the best that he could do and anywhere was better than living under England’s roof.
It was also around the time that America realized that Canada, one of France’s kids, was not a very cute boy, but was in fact a very cute girl. (It wasn’t his fault! She never wore dresses and was always so willing to play hockey with him, which was so boyish of her. But mainly, America thinks, it was because everyone called her Mat, which he had long assumed was short for Matthew, but was apparently short for Matilda. Go figure.)
She has grown up to be such a pretty young woman, with pretty blue-green eyes, long wavy dark blonde hair (like the shade of maple syrup, her favourite condiment) and even longer legs, accentuated by the short skirts that she had taken a liking to. And being a hormonal young man, America couldn’t help but try to invade Canada’s vital regions. She was angry at him at first, but a couple nights later after she calmed down, she forgave him (by visiting him late at night to invade his vital regions.) Their relationship was very secret, until Canada became pregnant.
It was then, that they considered maybe marrying each other for the first time. After all, Canada was pregnant with his baby and America couldn’t stand the thought of his child bring brought up by anyone else but him. (Especially not Russia, the creepy kid who lived next door to Canada.) But, first was first: they would have to tell their parents.
When England found out, he nearly had a heart attack. “I let you live alone for just a couple of months and you come home with a pregnant girl!” he exclaimed, scandalized. “Who’s the girl?”
When he found out that it was Canada, France’s girl, the heart attack came.
France, on the other hand, was very supportive. “Ah, mon mignon,” he says with starry eyes, bringing Canada into his arms. She wiggles uncomfortably while America watches, bemused. “You grow up so fast! I’m going to be a grandfather~!”
(They had planned to get married, but England threatened America against it with a shotgun. “The poor girl already has to have your child,” England had said scornfully. He was under the impression that, despite being perverted France’s child, Canada was a sweet, naive girl who was seduced by rowdy, horny America. “If you marry her, she’ll have to see your sorry face every day. Just support the kid.”)
Months later, she gave birth to Michigan.

Can't wait to see how you continue (or restart?) this. Girl!Canada just sounds adorable as a sweet tomboy.
