“Seriously, man.” Alfred let the bag slip off his back and down onto the floor. He went to the window to take a look outside. It was still raining a little, though not as much as it had earlier, and traffic didn’t seemed disturbed by it. People were walking around holding colourful umbrellas, and it looked like some kind of carnival when seeing it from above. Alfred smiled at the thought. Carnival. Like people from England could pull together something as entertaining as that. “A carnival for them would be drinking strawberry tea from a blue cup instead of a white one,” he snickered to his own amusement. The thought of tea reminded him of the waiting Arthur, and he quickly returned to his bag to find some clean clothes to change into. ‘Maybe I should take a bath too,’ he wondered, ‘after all I don’t want to smell later when we-…’
Sex. He couldn’t even think the word, and just having been close to made him red in embarrassment. Sure, he was no virgin, he’d been with girls for God’s sake. But it was going to be something else trying a man. It wasn’t like he’d made a deal with Arthur that that was the reason he came visiting. But they both knew it was. Officially, they started having an actual relationship together for four months ago. It felt natural, and it’d been Alfred himself who’d suggested they made it public. All the other nations had seemed to take it well - most of them even said they thought they were already dating. But then there was Francis…
“Oh, so you’ve made sweet love?” was his question as Alfred had told him. As his ears had gone red, Francis got the idea and had looked surprised. “Non? Then how come you call yourself a couple?”
“You don’t have to fuck someone to become a couple, you know.”
“But that’s the good part. Alfred, Mon Cher, you’re missing the whole point with being in a relationship.”
Alfred’s fists tightened around the shirt he had withdrawn from the bag. That was four months ago, but today was today, and tonight was tonight, and he was going to have his way with his lover as soon as the sky turned dark. A smile flickered across his lips as he took off the jacket and began unbuttoning the shirt. “You’ll see, Francis, I’ll make sweeter love than you’ll ever experience your whole life,” he encouraged himself, and for a few seconds, he actually felt he could do it.
