author!anon fails at this but she thought she would try something different
It was nice to have a friend Latvia thought to himself with a small smile. It was even nicer to have a friend around his own age. He wasn’t exactly lonely of course, but being around his brothers just wasn’t the same as being around Sealand. He could talk to Sealand about different things, about being young and independent. And he could help the slightly younger country as well; especially on his road to independence from UK.
Today was one of the days were Latvia and Sealand were sitting in Latvia’s house watching a movie. It was one of America’s so it was a little weird, but they couldn’t help laughing at some of the parts they understood. It was something about a robot trying to follow and find the female robot it had fallen in love with.
They both giggled as the robot got a make over from another robot. It was really cute.
Latvia was so into the movie though, that he didn’t notice Sealand looking at him or when he leaned closer.
He did notice when the other’s face was inches from him.
“W-what’s wrong?” He asked in surprise, pulling away.
Sealand smiled. “You’re not shaking.”
Latvia blinked in surprise, realizing that Sealand was right. He offered the other a shy smile at that. “It’s because I’m comfortable around you.”
“I’m glad.” Sealand replied, and then leaned over and shyly pressed his lips to Lativa’s.
Both of them were surprised by the action, and Sealand slowly pulled away looking embarrassed. “I-I’m sorry. . .”
Now shaking again, and blushing like mad, Latvia looked over at Sealand with a small smile. “No, I-I liked it. . .”
Sealand looked a little shocked at that but smiled.
The two stared at each other for a moment before something on from the movie caught their attention and they both dissolved into giggles. Both were glad for the distraction. The kiss had been a surprising but not unwelcome thing. Sitting there now Latvia slowly reached over and took Sealand’s hand. The younger nation glanced over at Latvia and smiled then he turned back to the TV to continue watching the movie.
Neither sad anything about the kiss for the rest of the time but neither of them forgot it either.

Awwwww! I think I just died from the adorableness, anon! I like how you kept it sweet and didn't have them jump into a full blown make out session or anything. Very cute~
