He was sick of it. Sick of the other nations taunting him, but most of all, he was sick of not being able to voice his own opinions. He had tons - oh boy, did he ever - of ideas, but being weak-voiced and a degree off shy, he was never able to bring forth what he wanted to say.
He wanted to change this.
Kiku listened quietly and attentively through their world meeting, as everyone had expected him to. At the end of every nation's proposal for global warming, Kiku's hands itched to rise and object, but his conservative Asian blood weighed the limb down. The words "I agree" tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop it, as if someone was controlling his speech motor.
At the moment, Alfred was finishing his proposal.
"--so, if we could all just chip in for my idea, I'm sure my idea of having the world's largest dome encase the Earth would work absolutely wonderfully--"
It was a stupid idea.
"--probably up to a hundred million US dollars, which, of course, when converted, will be a different amount for each of you--"
Nonsensical.
"--it's alright, though, since this will benefit everyone, myself included obviously, and--"
SNAP.
The Asian nation stood up abruptly. His stoic, black eyes stared at Alfred's bright, full-of-enthusiasm blue ones. Drawing his chair back, he slowly walked up to the front where Alfred was looking at him with a curious, inquisitive smile.
"What's up, Kiku? Did you want to personally agree with my plan because it was just that fabul--"
He punched the American in the face with his small, hard fist. The blond looked shocked, and he blinked for a moment to regain his sensed.
"Th-that really hurt," Alfred complained, rubbing his cheek. "If you didn't like it, you could've just--"
Another punch.
And another.
The Asian smiled a creepy smile. How strange it was to be so physically violent and blunt about it. The other nations were getting up from their seats, worried and uneasy. Arthur stood up, and yelled, "What are you doing Kiku!"
Kiku ignored this, and kicked at the less-than-recovering American. And again. And again, and faster, and punching, and swiping at anyone who tried to get near him.
"Why are you doing this?"
"What's wrong?"
"Stop it, this is absolutely--"
The nations crowding around fell silent as Kiku withdrew a gun from the inside of his jacket. He smiled, and suddenly, grinning with his teeth, he swung his gunned arm at Alfred and pulled the trigger.
This was so much fun.
(Higurashi-inspired. Sorry, I love US, don't get me wrong.. he just had to be the victim in this part accidentally! And sorry, my writing's clearly off. I should stick to filling art fills.)
