It was Yao who ended the kiss and immediately ducked his head so Ivan couldn’t see his face. “I’d prefer if you just took what you came for, instead of playing games.” He said almost too quietly to be heard.
Ivan smiled and suddenly lifted Yao and set him on the bed. The smaller nation was so light, too light if Ivan was any judge. Yao gave him a resigned look. “Turn over.” He ordered. Yao looked like he might argue so Ivan placed a hand on his hip and started to make him turn over. The torn robe fell apart to expose Yao’s back once he was on his knees. Ivan kneeled behind him and kissed the top of the wound. Slowly he licked away the blood that he had smeared over pale skin. The metallic taste sent a burst of arousal through him but he ignored it. He would get Yao, but not through sex. He was going to claim Yao in a way that would go much deeper. And if it helped him feel better then it was all for the best.
A short sob cut through his thoughts and he immediately straightened, not sure what he’d done to injure Yao further but wanting to fix it. Yao’s hair fell around his face, but the way he clutched at the sheets and the slight shaking of his shoulders was enough to see the tension in him. “Why?” He whispered. “Why are you doing this?”
Ivan blinked in surprise and reached over to brush aside the hair. Yao’s eyes were clenched shut, blocking out everything. “What do you mean?” He asked, truly confused by Yao’s sudden emotion.
“You come in here intent to harm and now…what do you want?” By the time he finished talking he was looking over his shoulder at Ivan. Without a word Ivan drew him into his arms, holding on tightly as the control that had allowed Yao to withstand abuse after abuse finally snapped. Ivan just held onto him.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered into the black hair, not sure if Yao even heard him or not.

How deliciously twisted~!
I'm sorta glad this isn't the typical H/C when it's Russia doing the comforting. One part of this pairing that I like so much is the mind games on Russia's part.

Aw, I'm not even a Russia/China fan, but this was very well written; I loved it. You're Yao is so cute, and you captured Ivan well in one of his saner moments. I don't remember the strip that showed us Yao's scar, it may not have been scanlated yet.

Amazing.
Hurt/comfort/manipulation! Loved Yao's directness. Loved Ivan licking the blood. So hot and dark -- and there wasn't even any smut! Daaaaaamn I love this pairing so much. Awesome fill anon!
