He couldn’t believe it. Couldn’t believe that he’d just uttered those words. Couldn’t believe that it was true. Even though he was a quarterback-star quarterback-he was a faggot. A cocksucker. He’d die of AIDS just like Uncle Frederick. He’d been that way all along and everyone knew. Wiping his nose, Alfred stared out at the blurry campers. He didn’t want to cry. That’d be really gay.
“What was that?” Ludwig peered at him.
“I’m a homosexual,” he murmured, eyes cast down.
“Congratulations, you’ve completed Step One. Stand up!”
Alfred did as he was told. Broad arms enveloped him and pulled him close. Alfred pressed himself against Ludwig. It felt nice. His arms were strong and Ludwig was a young man, maybe late twenties.
Chairs scraped across the floors as campers got up and joined in the hug. Hands patted and caressed Alfred’s back. Roderich skinny little fingers slid across his ass. Alfred pressed his face into Ludwig’s muscular chest and tried to focus on Ludwig’s strong arms-not Roderich awful bony fingers.
Arthur was the only one who didn’t hug him.

Okay names to countries! Jiaoli - China. Josefina - Mexico. I haven't posted my sketches of the characters yet, but Josefina has indigenous blood. I decided to make a lot of the supporting characters gay, in keeping with the film. Which was supposed to star Rosario Dawson as the cheerleader, but she wasn't considered "all-American" enough, so that didn't happen. And the writer/director made a lot of the supporting cast people of color. Antonia's definitely brown as well.
This is also going to be a bit darker than But I'm A Cheerleader. Because But I'm A Cheerleader doesn't cover somethings. Like what the fuck are Alfred's parents thinking? He's missing the deadlines for UC applications! (Don't worry, I'm like allergic to unhappy endings so it'll end happily.)

A!Anon is ditzy. At first I was going to add part 7, but I haven't double spaced it or counted out the characters, so no.
So a more detailed poll.
Alfred dreams then wanks to Ludwig. Ludwig is basically an older (dreamier) version of himself wearing better suits. It's going to make it hard to meet Ludwig's eyes.
Alfred dreams about Roderich and wakes up horrified. Feliks comforts him in a nonsexual manner.
Alfred dreams about then wanks to Gabriel.
My preference is Gabriel. Who also has green eyes. Unless I mentioned they were blue. In which case they're actually blue-green and Alfred is shit at observation.
