America was on his way to have lunch with the First Lady and the kids and boy, was he hungry. Staring at papers the past hour was tiring! He wanted some Cadbury sundaes for desert but he doubted if the White House had any.
'I'll just buy a dozen on the way home.'
Grinning at his brilliance, he opened the door to the dining area and was immediately attacked by a couple of furry white puppies with brown ears. He heard the giggles from the two girls and grinned at them, having recovered from the initial shock. He scooped both puppies into his arms and brought them back to the kids.
"New pets?" America asked as he handed the puppies back.
"The girls insisted on it." The First Lady smiled and kissed America's cheeks, "How are you doing, Alfred?"
America grinned at her, "Awesome as usual!"
"That's good to hear--"
"Aw! Look at that!" One of the girls giggled, "Tea is sniffing Al's behind!"
America turned his head to look and saw one of the puppies, cradled in the arms of one of the girls, sniffing him. He bent down and scratched the puppy's head, "What this little guy's name?"
"His name is Tea!"
"And this one's Crumpet!"
America nearly winced at the last one's name, apparently, it shared the same name as England's old and certainly not forgotten parrot from his pirating days. He just couldn't stick with Polly, that rogue.
"They're English Cocker Spaniels from England!" The girls grinned, "They're authentic British pups!"
America laughed, "So, they drink tea instead of milk, then?"

It had been an entertaining lunch with the First Lady and the kids, the puppies had been licking at his shoes the entire time, though. America wished he could've spent the entire time playing with the kids and the puppies but alas, he had to return to work.
He was looking for a particular folder and after buzzing his secretary three times, he got tired of waiting and went out of his office to find her on her desk, chatting away on her cell phone.
"Geez, I dunno why I put off watching Merlin for so long! Damn, that Arthur guy is hot as fuck. What I'd do to ride that--Oh, shi--Need anything, Mr. Jones?" Jane looked at him, smiling innocently as if she hadn't been caught taking about her fantasies for a certain 'Arthur' on her cell phone during working hours.
"Um." America stared at her, suddenly forgetting what he was looking for. Instead, he was thinking about what his secretary had just said--did she just mean Arthur, as in England Arthur or some other Arthur? But she did mention a Merlin so...
"Mr. Jones?"
"O-Oh, uh. Do you have the files from the last meeting? I can't seem to find it." America quickly responded, it wasn't what he was looking for but he had to say something else he would look like a complete fool.
"I placed it on your desk just before you went out to lunch, it's under the blue folders."
"Oh. I see. Thank you, Jane."
"You're welcome, sir."
America turned back to his room to return to his work, just as he was about to close the door, he caught Jane resuming her talk on the phone.
"As I was saying, that Arthur. Fapilicious meat. His hot temper is an added bonus. I like 'em feisty--oh, and that accent. It's sexy. What I would do for a hot British guy to have his way with--"
America shut the door behind him and willed himself back to work, forgetting he even heard a word from Jane.
