late A!A is late and terribly sorry! So yeah, what to expect in here: somewhatdrunk!Spain, weirdlygentlemanly!England, onesided Spamano (?), onesided USUK (?) and possibly some grammar and spelling mistakes because A!A's first language is not English. And yeah, first!Fic-Fill ....enjoy? /hides >_<

~*~

He didn't know how he ended up this way. Really. The only thing he knew at this moment was that his body was feeling dangerously out of control.

He could not quite tell if his limbs felt too light or too heavy, he was simply not able to move them the way he wanted to.

Everything around him was a mixture of strange colors, blurring and confusing and steadily moving. Why was this fucking world moving? No, it was not the world... but neither could it be him. He had to hold on tighter or else he would fall.

„Bloody hell, Spain, would you please stop ... choking me?”

A voice close to him suddenly demanded in very annoyed tone and an all to familiar but foreign accent.

“Ing-...Inglaterra...?” Spain managed to say hoarsely. It was so hard to talk when your mouth felt dry like covered in dust and your tongue was unnaturally heavy.

England scoffed. “Yeah, obviously it's me. Stupid enough to pick you up from the street. God, why am I even doing this?” He seemed to ask himself that question.

“How come neither that stupid frog nor Prussia were with you?” This time the question was louder and obviously directed to Spain. “Now I'm the one who's bothered with you... oh, whatever, forget it. Just...Just don't move so much...and be quiet, I don't want to be remembered of what I'm doing right now.”

Spain had some difficulties to follow England's ranting, but he slowly realized now where exactly he was.
He could feel the tight hold on his legs and how his arms were somehow positioned around England's neck.

The man walked in a surprisingly fast pace, not at all bothered by Spain's weight on his back and he seemed to know exactly where he had to go.

“Where... where are we going...?” Spain murmured against England's neck, already having forgotten the question from before.

England suppressed a shiver when he felt Spain's warm breath against his skin which had turned rather cold after his long walk in the nightly streets of Madrid.

“I'm taking you home... what else were you thinking?” He grunted gruffly in response, readjusting his arms to have a better grip on Spain's legs.
Spain squirmed unconsciously, pressing his body even more closely to England's, again wrapping his arms a little too tightly around his neck.

“God, Spain! I'm not that little stupid and insufferable bastard child of yours! You may do this to him, but stop the fuck rubbing yourself against m- hmngh!”

Before he could finish his sentence, the arms around his neck tightened again, this time painfully and fully out of purpose.

“Don't you dare to insult Romano ever again... “ Spain hissed into his ear, in a dangerously low and suddenly very clear voice.

England coughed and stood still, glaring from the side at Spain's face right next to his.

“Let...go...!” He growled back between clenched teeth, voice breathless but equally threatening.

The effect of the alcohol in his bloodstream only seemed to be able to be suppressed for short with his sudden anger, because the dizzy feeling returned to Spain's head and his strength disappeared leaving his arms hanging loosely around England's neck. England huffed and continued walking.

“So this is the way you Spaniards thank other people for helping you? Well, good for you that I'm a gentleman else I would have kicked your ass into the next alley and left you there.
But since your drunk I'll be indulgent...although, I must admit I'm quite curious.”

Spain's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, he didn't remember England to be like this. The island nation was not the one to just shrug off a threat and not even be angry.

“How come you've gotten yourself drunk, anyway? Your little bastard child's not paying enough attention to you?”

He asked almost casually but Spain sensed that he was in fact quite pissed and just not acting out his anger.

“Well, you know what you're talking about, aren't you?” Spain answered drowsily against England's ear.

“I'm surely not as good as you in drowning unrequited love for certain ex-colonies in alcohol.”

Spain could see how England's jaw clenched at his words and he seemed to fight to keep his composure, but Spain actually didn't want to put up a fight right now. He chuckled lightheartedly before England could get any more offended.

“Actually this kinda makes us sit in the same boat, don't you think, Inglaterra?” he slurred against England's cheek, grinning lopsidedly.

There was no reason for him to deny that he had gotten drunk because of Romano, simply because he knew that even though Romano liked him somehow he would never reciprocate Spain's romantic feelings.

He could bear that fact most of the time, just occasionally it would be too painful so he would got back to his sweet Sangria.

And since England's situation seemed to be exactly the same one, Spain had no qualms with telling him right away how it was.

England scoffed annoyed.

“I have most certainly no feelings of that sort for America... I really don't know what you mean, so shut up now before I really kick your ass into an alley, because you're pushing your luck quite far right now.”

Spain just laughed lightly.

“I never said I was talking about América...”, he murmured to himself, but he chose not to comment any further on England's reddening cheeks.

He simply laid his head on England's shoulder and closed his tired eyes, suddenly weary and exhausted.

England meanwhile was thinking that he would never follow the advice of his boss to make a short vacation trip to another country, especially not Spain, ever again.

A/N: Yeah, England knows where Spain lives and he probably has heard about those rumours that say that Spain is a pedo /shot
Uh, and Spain has been kicked out of a Pub because he's been too drunk and loud...that's when England's passed by and picked him up from the streets cause he's a nice guy like that...just in case you've wondered how it came to that scene here... ~
Hope OP likes, A!A goes back into her cave now~

Awww, sweet! Those two need more broship moments, they have so much in common, I can see them hanging out together and getting drunk occasionally.

Thanks for writing this <3

Well, I think it would take a lot of time until they (especially England) could admit that they have something in common... At first it would be a pleasant but somehow awkward conversation when hanging out... but when their both drunk it would more likely end in a fight, I think xD

A!A is very happy that her fic is liked, thanks for commenting <3

Ooh, this was awesome! You described a drunk!Spain really well, and I love how irritated England was. Both of them were so in-character, so it was easy for me to feel sad knowing that they had their one-sided loves (it was so cute how Spain was like, "Don't insult Romano" and really serious about it even though he was drunk).

The humor every now and then, like how England didn't like being in the situation and the witty dialogue between the two characters, was fun to read. It lightened the more serious mood, and made the fill even more fun and amazing. ^^

I hope you keep writing! You have a skill here, in writing England and Spain. For this being your first fill, it was beautiful! ;)

There were a couple tiny little grammar errors, like missing commas or parts of dialogue that were in the wrong place, but they didn't detract from the story.

thank you so much for commenting and letting me know that you liked it... I hope I keep writing, too, cause I really like to but it takes so much time for me to do so xD
Thank you once again, your comment brightened my day ;///; /tears of joy

That was to be expected xD... aah, it sucks to have no beta but I'm glad my mistakes weren't so big as to make the fill impossible to read :3
