“Indeed,” England replied, and the tea cup stopped in front of him. “I assure you, I’m not a ghost. A ghost cannot interact with its environment. A ghost can be seen,” he stressed.
“Right, right, okay. It’s cool, we’re cool. This is totally cool,” America gave a nervous laugh. He heard the other sigh and watched the tea cup move to hover above the sofa. He assumed that meant England was sitting on it and sat down next to him, shifting up the sofa until he bumped into something soft. “That’s your leg, right?” he checked.
“Yes America,” now England just sounded tired. “This is ridiculous. I don’t have the faintest idea what to do.”
“You’re looking at it the wrong way!” This was safe waters now. America knew what to do here. “Seriously, invisibility is like one of the coolest superpowers you could get. Do you know what you can do with it?” he gasped. “England! You can totally spy on Russia for me, that damn commie’s been up to something lately and I gotta know what ‘cause if he’s planning on nuking us to hell he’s got another thing coming!”
The other nation groaned, and he felt the vibrations through his leg. That was weird. “America, if I can’t use krautz then you can’t use commie. It’s offensive these days.”
“There’s a big difference between seventy odd years and twenty odd,” America pouted. He needed to find a way to make England see his side of things. “What if it were France? Think of everything you could do to him and he’d never know,” the tea cup stilled.
He was thinking about it. Excellent.
“This is an opportunity to do everything you always wanted to do before!” America was getting into it now. “All those times you felt self-conscious, all those times you wanted to do something but thought it was undignified, now you can do them and no one will know! All those times you wanted to get someone back, you can do it and they won’t even know it’s you!”
“There are some people I… wish to repay,” England admitted. That was as much of a yes as you would get from him. He had a habit of dancing around a topic and refusing to commit to something.
America leapt to his feet and punched the air. “Alright! Let’s do this thing!”

This is shaping to be great, anon!! Really great. Two gems as of now:
“Perhaps with a little less screaming. They are British after all.” and “Isn’t it awesome? Congress agreed on it and everything.” Well, kind of. Maybe. They weren’t allowed to use the name on official documents or in public in case of jealousy from other countries. America could understand that
Those lines had me loling like crazy. Also: . That was as much of a yes as you would get from him. He had a habit of dancing around a topic and refusing to commit to something. That's my England XD
