IT WILL GET BETTER! This was written in a hurry and I was very stuck on how to start the story so this is the horrible beginning which is most likely full of horrible mistakes and fail but the rest of the story has been planned out (as I watched my Tangled movie about 10 times in a row to get the perfect plot)
Prologue
All good fairy tales should begin the same and this one is no different. Once upon a time a lonely Spirit that roamed the forest found a small boy. The boy never forgot him unlike the people of the near by towns who would chop down the trees of the forest even as he begged them to stop, because he could only give so much and they were slowly killing him. The boy he found who was now a man stood up to the villagers and saved the forest. The now man had fallen in love with the Spirit and that is why he never forgot about him. The Spirit though would tell the man every day to go out and find a human who he could grow old with, but the man said he only had eyes for the Spirit.
The Spirit had fallen for the man as well though never acted on those feelings. The man knew the Spirit loved him, but was to scared to say so because of it's immortality.
The Spirit heal any wound and any illness, but the Spirit could not reverse the aging process that wrapped its clutches around the man.
The Spirit watched with pained eyes as the man became gray with age. When the time came and the man passed away the Spirit was devastated.
The Spirit sorrow was so great it slowly killed the Spirit.
Morning the loss of the forest vines of the forest’s trees passed the Spirit’s body through its wooded maze until they could lay the lifeless form on the grave of the Spirit’s beloved. From where they lay the spirit a dark brown flower grew.
The flower was sent by the spirt so that no one would have to suffer the same fate. But, plans hardly ever work out the right way.
A man blood thirsty for war found the flower and used it’s powers to keep himself young and heal himself from any injury from the wars he so loved to fight in.
In a kingdom across the sea a Successor was to be born. The Queen had tried and tried to bear a child, but the more her and her husband tried they lost hope with each passing month. So when the Queen started to show signs of her growing child the kingdom rejoiced.
The rejoicing was soon short lived as the Queen had fell ill. The Kingdom soon started to look for a miracle.
So as I bet you can guess the Kingdom was saved by that flower which was chopped up and drank by the Queen.
A month later a gorgeous baby boy was born. His eyes were brighter than any emerald gem the kingdom had. The Queen had laughed as she saw the same eyebrows that were the same on her son as they were on her husband. But what stuck out the most was the long chocolate brown hair on the baby’s head.
The blood thirsty man was out raged and took the baby and locked him into a tower in the forest outside the kingdom so that he could use the power of the flower that now rested in the baby’s hair.
*u* This is really really nice! The prologue truly piqued my interest~ :D I wonder how Alfred would make his appearance in the tower. :P Bet he would say that he's awesome and all to Arthur. Pfft.
