The rain cascaded down the streets, pitter patter. It danced around, crashing into those in its path, showing no mercy for those who received its barrage. Beijing was crowded as ever, many obligated to face its wrath. Cold souls scurried around, trying to finish the day’s errands if only to return to the fire of the hearth. In this circumstance, no one would want to linger and embrace the grey atmosphere.
However, there was a man, who quietly observed the atmosphere. Slowly walking, the rhythm of his steps harmonized with the beats of the rain. His dark-amber eyes squinting, searching for something, trying to see through the walls that coldly pushed the rain away. This man was attired in what would be safe to say, a peasant’s clothes. Coarse brown pants, a loose blouse, sandals, and a bamboo-leaf hat deceived what the man really was.
Im Yong-Soo: the name that had made many headlines. Left on a doorstep, with nothing but a name card in Korean, he had grabbed his way up society with the grubby hands of someone unwanted, emerging with almost god-like hands of the rich. Such success enjoyed from founding such a successful company hadn’t come without the scandals. His alleged affair with the foreigner from England, proof of his infidelity to his wife, possible infertility, behind the door deals, all exposed to the public.
All except for one. Despite the rumors, Im Yong-Soo was actually very fertile, his wife being the basis for why he didn’t have any true children. But there was one exception; the burden he had carried for the last 17 years was finally to be relieved with the death of his wife only one month ago.
The phone call had come when he had needed it the most. Unrest was starting to brew within the country, between the Nationalists and the Communists. The death of his wife had brought him to their attention. Im Yuna had died without bearing an heir to the empire created by the Korean orphan. Ideas to posses the business encroached their minds. His heir hadn’t been named, and if needed, they could take it by force. It seemed as if there would be no hope.
Then as if God had heard his prayer, the phone rang.
“Hello?” he had asked.
“It’s time you took responsibility for your adulterine.” The firm tone of the caller had stated.
Silence passed by them, before Yong-Soo found the courage to speak.
“Thank you…Ge Ge…where do you live?”
“Meet me in the Shanghai Market, by the dumpling street vendors at 3 next week.”
With that the caller had hung up.
Left with a glimmer of hope, Yong-Soo had all but run toward the path.
Yet, now, faced with his chance, he trudged toward it, knowing that pain would strike when he had to confront his past and the product of his sin. The deep-fried smell of dumplings wafted into his nose when he reached the well-known street. Wondering how he would ever find his brother around, Yong-Soo decided to ask the first vendor he saw whether he had seen a petite man with ridiculously long hair.
Before he could ask, he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“You really came, huh?”
So uh, this request really intrigued me, and I'll try my best to fulfill your request! ^^ Uhm, I don't know how long this will take, but unfortunately, i won't be able to write your smut. However, if someone would like to write smut for it, go ahead~

Yet, now, faced with his chance, he trudged toward it, knowing that pain would strike when he had to confront his past and the product of his sin.
Oh boy, I wonder who exactly was the woman he had the affair with! But is that an important plot point? Idk but oh gosh, China seems very, very cool so far and all we've seen are just a few lines /gets shot okay I'm very weird, I know orz
