GEH! D-don't just hug people you don't so in such a familiar way! =///=;
I do enjoy dark fics every so often. I've written a couple myself, although not on the kink meme... but I'm a complete sucker for happy endings. *sighs!* I feel like such a sappy idiot... I don't know who to blame. u//ú;
I think Arthur would always maintain some tsundere behaviour, but it would tone down upon feeling more secure with Alfred... Until he insults his cooking. But hey, no couple is perfect!
Mmm... In my headcanon, I imagine that they got together following WWII. WWI was when Arthur would have begun to realise that Alfred wasn't a hopeless little boy any longer, the Great Depression would probably give him incentive to feel that way but since America acted quite professional about it he might've been quite begrudgingly proud, and WWII... well, I'm sure you know enough about it to understand why. Churchill commenting on their Special Relationship and all that... I shan't ramble, however. =u=; But yes, I imagine that they got together during the 1940s and were turmultuous and hesitant with their relationship for a good several years, testing their boundaries. During the modern day, however, I think they'd find it easier to show affection, even if they'd sometimes feel anxious due to all of the homophobia, but we're doing things about it now. :) The Day of Silence was yesterday, after all, for one thing...
I really don't believe that Alfred is a clueless idiot. I loathe when he's portrayed that way in serious stories. He's obviously intelligent enough to compete with Japan on the technology front, he's got strong forces and political standings... He's not stupid and, whilst a bit dense, isn't entirely clueless. *takes things too seriously!*
I doubt Arthur would ever allow himself to appear needy, no matter what... =u=; Yes, I'm a bit tired of their relationship being portrayed as chidish... *huffs!*
D-don't say it's cheesy! I didn't even expect people to understand the title, so I was hoping nobody would comment on it. Leave me alone! ;//3//;
... Th-thank you. =///n///= B-but I don't want any hugs!
Since they said they were American, I think they were just making fun of American and British stereotypes with the hugging. You know, loud, extroverted, and touchy versus reserved and "Why are you touching me? Do not want!" ;D
