one.
(It begins as something small, something so infinitesimally tiny that it can hardly be considered a problem at all)
"America," England says, shaking the other nation's shoulder gently. "Are we-"
"Not... Now..." America's reply is distracted as his eyes remain glued to the screen, fingers fumbling with the controls.
England sighs. "Alright then."
(It grows bigger, bit by bit)
"America-" England barely gets to say another word before he is cut off.
"Not tonight," America says hurriedly, fingers moving at alarming speed, jabbing at the controls.
England's eyes narrow briefly. "Then when?"
(And it reaches the stage where it cannot be ignored any longer)
"America," England squeezes his shoulder. "We need to talk."
"Tomorrow?" America bites his lip, eyes not leaving the screen.
"I'm going to bet with you," England says, tone resolute.
"Oh?"
"Yes," England says wryly. "Oh indeed."
America doesn't answer and England sighs.
"I'm going to challenge you to a game."
America pauses for a moment, hesitates and all is lost, he has to repeat the stage again. He looks up at England, raises an eyebrow. "Are you serious?"
England looks at him incredulously, thinks of all the times they have had to spend apart due to their job as, well, nations and thinks of the countless number of nights he has had to go to bed alone during the few times they have had to meet one another and he smiles, with a deadly gleam in his eyes. "What do you think?"
America chews on his lower lip and England wonders, exactly how long has it been since he has felt those wonderful lips on his own, since, since-
"Sure," America says, grinning.
"And if I win..." England trails off. He takes a deep breath. "You will do whatever I want you to do. Of course, if you win, I will do whatever you want me to."
"Wow," America laughs, a little nervously. "Sounds... Wow. Okay."
England heaves an inward sigh of relief - he's definitely going to have to ask Japan for help now - and smiles again. "We'll compete a week later. Fair enough?"
"Sure, sure," America flashes England a smile before his fingers fly across the controls again and it's back to finishing his game and England has no idea what it's about, screw all his stupid spur of the moment ideas.
But he doesn't want to lose, because he thinks it's stupid to have to compete for America's attention with a bloody video game.
(So something has to go, something has to change)
"I don't believe this." America stares at the screen, dumbfounded. "You won."
England shrugs and thinks of how he trained with Japan, and then with Korea who randomly popped in and declared that all video games originated in Korea and joined the gaming sessions and his lips curl upwards and he looks at America. Sweet, sweet victory. "Yes, love," he murmurs. "I won."
America is silent for a while. "Well," he says, not meeting England's gaze. "A hero's gotta keep his promise. So. About the bet."
England frowns, he raises an eyebrow before smirking. "Oh yes. Yes, yes, yes."
America squirms a little, backs away just a little. "What do you have in mind?"
"You're going to be my maid for a week," England says, licking his lips.
"No problem." America shrugs.
"Oh no, love." England shakes his head, leaning closer. "There's more to it than you think."
America smirks. "Oh really?"

Um, wow. Yeah that was such a hot beginning. o//o
The bonuses that the OP listed is really awesome too and I hope you include them. I do have to admit that I don't see the 3rd bonus happening here though. Considering that what started this bet appears to be America paying too much attention to his games instead of England, I don't think England would take kindly to sharing his attention with another nation. Well that's my thought anyway.
I hope you have more planned soon, because even if I'm a horrible OP who didn't review until now, this is fucking fantastic, and I and many here (as you can see) love every single line in it. And we aren't event into the good stuff yet!
