Present Day

Japan took notes as England and America fought as they usually did, in the middle of a meeting. He made sure to catch everything, like the hurt look that appeared on England's face as America insulted his cooking again or how when England turned away, America's hand jerked upwards slightly as if he wanted to reach out to England but he quickly controlled it.

"Interesting," Japan said out loud, as he scribbled down a few more observations.

"What is so interesting about watching the same thing over and over again?" France said in a bored tone. "The sexual tension normally excites me but when the same thing has been happening on and off for the past several decades, it gets old very fast." France craned his head to see Japan's notes and a smile crept onto his face. "But you just made it interesting again Japon. Mathieu, have you seen this?" The quiet nation made Japan jump, he had forgotten that he was there. The smile that France was wearing was mirrored in Canada's face.

"It's good to see someone else is seeing all this obvious UST," Canada remarked, as he settled back in his chair with a confidence that he shared with America.

"UST?" Lithuania, on the other side of Canada, spoke up. "What's that?"

"Unresolved Sexual Tension," France announced and Lithuania looked surprised.

"Are you talking about England and America?"

"They're just that easy to guess," Canada said wryly to France who laughed and nodded. "We should do something about that."

"Like what Canada-san?" Japan asked curiously, keeping an eye on the rest of the nations that seemed perfectly content to do their own thing, neither paying attention to the fight or the little group. Canada looked around at the three nations waiting for his opinion and rejoiced at this moment where he was noticed for himself rather than his brother.

"Well we're fed up of them dancing around the issue. Why don't we help them along?" Canada grinned and France smirked.

"It seems you have picked up something from me after all Mathieu," France cooed as he placed an arm around the blushing nation. Lithuania and Japan ignored this, too used to it to pay much attention.

"If we get their bosses involved, then it will be a lot easier and they won't find out we're the ones interfering," Lithuania mentioned to Japan who nodded and wrote it down on a new piece of paper.

"Like Monsieur Churchill. I heard he was a big fan of England and America, how do you say it, getting it on?" France said with faux-innocent which caused the still-trapped Canada to roll his eyes at his former guardian's habits. Lithuania's mouth turned down slightly.

"Whatever you do, don't mention Churchill around Poland. He's not a huge fan of the guy," Lithuania warned and the other three nations nodded.

"But the bosses should know. I believe they will be agreeable," Canada murmured as Germany finally managed to call the meeting to order and ended it. "I'll talk to America after the meeting about it. Fra - Japan can you talk to England as well? We'll meet back to talk to the bosses," Canada said unusually assertively before marching off after America.

"I believe that we've just been roped in on a matchmaking scheme," France said to Lithuania, looking after his former colony as he stopped his brother before walking with him out.

"There are worse things. Besides I owe America this." Lithuania said, more to himself than France.

Poland being given to Russia after WWII was blamed on Churchill who was very wary of the Soviet Union and so allowed them to take Poland. I love all the comments I got but when OP didn't show up for a while, I thought I had driven them away with my horrible updating. But they are back and I was inspired! Doing outside the norm is great and America is so awkward and teenage. England has said completely the wrong thing, he just couldn't have held it in until after America had said what he needed to say. Drunk!England is fun to write, so much less repressed than regular England. Enjoy the update, less than a month after the last one!

I am fully willing to believe this is the way France spends his time. It's just...it's so him. He lives for this, and Canada indeed seems to have inherited more than just the wavy hair. I am actually sad France is not going to be the one to talk to England. I know, I know, Canada was being practical, but man if those two are not amusing XD

Nice Churchill mention. Getting the bosses involved is making me all kinds of excited, I love nation-boss interaction! I wonder who are you going to use? A real life example, the current ones, someone made up, The Queen...?

I'm glad to have been of service! I just had very busy months in April and May. This is as awesome as ever ^^
