Lithuania smiled a little bitterly. “It has been no trouble Russia. There is no need to thank me for I have enjoyed being around you. And you should not underrate yourself, after all America chooses to be around you.”
“Ah,” said Russia quietly “do you mean that little Liet?”
“Of course I do,” Lithuania said, gently reassuring the other while a headache threatened to burst through his temple. “America obviously enjoys your company and…”
“That is not what I was asking,” Russia said “I was asking if you meant that you have really enjoyed being around me.”
“Oh,” said Lithuania softy unable to stop himself from blushing. He tried to fight it back as he answered. “Of course I meant it.”
Russia made a humming noise of confirmation. He paused again before speaking, looking unusually pensive. His next words slammed Lithuania in the gut.
“I want America.”
That baldly stated fact sent him reeling. “Ah I see, well it’s none of my business to interfere so I…”
Russia ignored him and continued “I want America because he is new and young. I can be like a child, easily distracted by things that shine. I cannot deny that I want him but I do not need him. “ He looked up at Lithuania, violent eyes trapping him. “I need you.”
Lithuania’s lips parted slightly in wonder but he was given no chance to react.
“I forget sometimes Liet that I need you,” Russia whispered. “And it has been so many years that had forgot that it is not only your land that I want but you. I want you Lithuania as surely as I need you.”
“Oh…” said the smaller nation again, just as soft as before but in a different way. Then he smiled and his smile was brighter than any sun and it warmed Russia to the very bones.

[A/N] First complete multi-part fill. Cheer for me anons even if it wasn't the best thing I've ever written. I had a lot of fun though. Just a few things to clarify. I said they were in hotel rooms but Liet is doing dishes and whatnot. Jsyk they're in those fancy hotel rooms with ovens and Lithuania doesn't really seem like the type to let the room service wash it's own dishes XD Also Russia ended up just asking America all about Lithuania. I can't promise he didn't gain any potential blackmail material
