Complications With A Pirate [3a/?] anonymous April 8 2011, 05:43:05 UTC
Peter had always known Arthur a man of dedication and pride to his job. And booze. He was not excessive. Even as a pirate. He carried himself in such a manner, he deserved to be respected. He didn’t have to kill one of his crew to get respect, like most pirates. He was mostly like a father figure to his crew and respectably good mates with old sea dogs. He had great connections as well.

When the boy asked the Captain what the point of pirating was, to which he replied: “Doing the crown’s dirty business.”

He never knew what that meant.

So a bit out of character, he asked Arthur the point of stealing the ‘pretty girl’ (as Peter would call her) and the captain thought about it for a few moments before replying.

“Ah, buckaroo, wenches are like...like candy.”

They were in the Captain’s office in the middle of the night. Everyone but Arthur and Peter had gone to sleep due to their excess of drinking.

Captain Arthur was forming a plan, thus mapping out the island he was in and writing vigorously with his quill pen strategies.

Peter had the privilege of sleeping there with a small hammock he made himself. Although, it was a bit of a bother since the Captain would at night be devising ways to get treasure, it was pretty comfy and no one bothered to question him on the matter.

“Oh. Really?” Peter said with wide-eyes.

“Hm. Yes. Or a toy! Yes, a nice toy!”

“Like a teddy bear?”

“Like a teddy bear. Imagine having the most fluffiest, softest teddy bear and it just saying tah ye,‘Oh, Petey I’m yours!’ (he said in a squeaky voice) But! It’s in a store and you don’t wanna pay. What do ye do?”

“Umm, steal?” He said raising a brow.

“Yup, boy-o. That’s precisely what I intend to do.”

“So, that lady, is like a toy, and you want her?”

The British man grunted.

“Oh, that makes sense.” Peter nodded strongly like he learned how to solve an equation.

The boy yawned, said goodnight and went to sleep with one thought.

All this trouble for a teddy bear-I mean, lady? Wow, Captain sure is a weirdo.
