Plus, other nations would notice America’s absence, would notice something wrong and the ones particularly close to him (England, Canada, Japan, he thought with a scowl) would probably be up sometime soon.
With a sigh, Estonia began to trash the place to make it look like a struggle and mussed up America’s clothes (took out his wallet and held onto the credit cards to throw down a garbage chute in the hallway).
Suddenly inspired, Estonia took a knife from a drawer in the little kitchenette attached to America’s hotel room, ran it through some of America’s blood and tossed it somewhere in the wreckage.
Taking one final look at the place, he felt satisfied that, at the very least, they would be thrown off for awhile in searching for the culprit.
And that, the thought of the people who were closest to America, the ones who “loved” him, their horror at the discovery, panicking because of inconsistencies in the crime scene. Well. It made him smile and his feelings of jealously were concealed with righteousness. They didn’t love America like he did; they didn’t understand how perfect he could be.
So Estonia left, knowing that it would only be a matter of time for others to get there. He first went to his room (to put away his switch blade, bottle, and gloves), but soon found himself sitting back at the bar where the party was still roaring.
It was only an hour or so later, when the party began to disperse, that the faint screams of horror rung out.
Geez!! OP here nearly jumped out of her seat when she saw this on the fill list!
She is also glad that you didn't go for a full blown necrophilia slant to it, because there's some necrophiliac!Eesti fill floating around too so the lack of that made this more unique. But his attraction and his yearning for America still..
That last line as well, just so chilling. This was definitely a horrific fill, and the plotting and America's loudness ruining his attraction... I have to say the line about a hoard of vuvuzelas made me laugh a bit, but the humor gave way to such a dark and beautiful fic ♥ I don't think I could have asked for a better fill!
I also do really love America/Estonia/America and am glad that you pointed out Eesti modeled his country after America! So true and not enough people know that<3
