"So, be sure to not be rude." Ivan said as he led the shorter burnet to the main hall where they were to meet Toris' buyer, "And do not say his name unless he calls you to say it, he hates when his name is said incorrectly."
"Yes sir." Toris said dutifully as he followed after Ivan, his one suitcase clasped tigtly in his hand.
Raivis and Eduard both watched him as he passed the kitchen; tears in the younger brothers eyes once again.
Toris offered them both a sad smile as he passed by wishing that he could go to them and comfort them. He knew however that he could not.
When they reached the doors they were opened by two of Ivan's other servants and the bright light of day shone through blinding Toris as he was led in.
Fighting back a wince from the brightness Toris followed after Ivan beginning to feel ill from worry and fear.
There, standing by the window sill a nation, with hair like spun gold and skin of ivory. His attention was drawn to where they were as they entered; he turned and looked at Toris with eyes of violet much lighter shade then Ivan's and certainly more kind.
Toris stared at the other nation in surprise at the nation. He recognized the other nation quite easily. After living in America's house for so long how could he not? More often than not this nation had come over to visit America during the time Toris was there and the entire time he had treated Toris with nothing but the utmost kindness. To see him here now made Toris wonder if that kindness would be the same.
"Hello Toris, hello Ivan." Matthew said stepping away from the window towards them, "I was just admiring your beautiful country."
"Da…" Ivan said with a voice that sounded just a tinge on the irritated side, "I am glad you could come here alright…"
"Yes well, it was a bit of an adventure but it was good." Matthew said giving another polite smile to Ivan before turning to Toris, "Hello Toris, how are you?"
Completely stunned by what was happening it took Toris a moment to answer. “Ah I am well Ma-. . .sir.”
A chuckle and Matthew replied, "Matthew is fine. You'll be living with me right. No use in you 'siring' me all the time."
"O-of course si- Matthew." Toris said looking down to hide his embarrassment.
"Well Ivan, I think that was all, I'm sure you want me out of your hair." Matthew said turning his kind smile to the taller Russian.
Glowering Ivan nodded. "Of course." He gave Toris a push toward Matthew. "Do take care of him."
"I will," Matthew said, his smile turning just a bit terrifying, "better then you, I'm sure."
Ivan barely suppressed an angry growl at that, Toris could feel the anger radiating off of him from that comment. "I am sure that you will." He said as he gave Toris a cold look before stomping off. The look left Toris shivering and praying that nothing would happen to his brothers.
"He's a bit irritable today." Matthew sighed, going over and grabbing Toris' bag, "That's understandable…but don't worry about him."
"I-I can carry that sir." Toris said nervously, not wanting his new owner to trouble himself.
"Hm, don't worry about it." Matthew said with a kind smile, "Do you have a good coat? I fear Canada isn't much warmer then Russia."
Toris shook his head. “No sir, just what I’m wearing.”
"Alright then." Matthew replied and kindly took off his own coat, placing it on Toris' shoulders. "You can have mine, at least till we get home and I can buy you a better one."
"P-please don't worry about me! I'll be alright with what I'm in." Toris said quickly as he tried to fight back a blush. "You don't have to do all that for me. . .I'm used to the cold."
"Ah well, I wouldn't want you to get sick. Don't mind it, I like being able to help out." Matthew said leading him to his car where the chauffeur was waiting.
Toris really couldn't say anything against that; if it was Matthew's wish then what choice did he have but to listen to his new owner. "Of course sir."
"I'll keep you safe." Matthew said helping Toris into the car and making sure he was well buckled in. With a smile he ordered his chauffeur out and they headed to the airport.
