The Red-Eye from New York (two/two)

“You suck,” America says, pouting, “They didn’t have Walmart when I acquired that. I’ve just had it for ages.” This isn’t going at all how he planned. England is supposed to be happy to see him! And his gift is awesome! Well, he’ll make England see.
England rolls his eyes at America - Why is my pouting never effective? America bemoans internally - and opens the book. England looks at the first few pages, makes a choked noise, and flips through the rest of it. America can’t take his eyes off of England’s face as this happens, because he knows that if he misses this first reaction he’ll probably never know how much England really liked the gift. He’s a little stunned, and a little uncomfortable, to see that England’s eyes have become wet.
“It’s-it’s a photo album,” England says, “You have a photo album of us. Is - did you - who did the sketches of you, when you were little?” When you were my colony, he probably wants to say, Americas thinks. England must know that that would ruin the moment, though.
“One of the women who watched me,” America said, “There’s some water color, too. But mostly at the end it’s Polaroids and stuff. I’m not very good at art, you know. Speaking of which, this one needs to go in the next slot.” He indicates the picture in his hand. It’s adorable, so they have to keep it.
“Forget that,” England says. He puts the photo album on the table by the door and slams the front door shut. “Forget about it for now,” he amends, “And kiss me.”
America does. It’s the most romantic day of the year, so of course there’s got to be loads of kissing.
WORD LIMITS ARRRRRG. Would you guys read a five or six part Russia/Cuba/Canada? It would be one third angst and two thirds fluff (in the standard angst-fluff-fluff recipe for most PWP fic, except when it was the rarer fluff-angst-fluff format).

Oh my gosh, I love this. Love, love it. Uh, I can't think of anything much else to say, except that your characterizations of America and England were spot-on.
Russia/Cuba/Canada? I've never seen that threesome before, but I think I'm intrigued enough by the concept to read it.

Go writernon! This was adorable. I love jerky tsundere-England, especially in USUK fics. The last bit was my favorite. :D I've never read Russia/Cuba/Canada, but would definitely be willing to if you wrote it!

*shifty eyes* No one saw that de-anon.
I absolutely adore this~ ^-^
That said, as someone who ships all three pairing combinations of those three, I'd /love/ to see a threesome if you're interested in writing one, authornon.

I totally saw it. Except that it happened while I wasn't looking.

Okay! Again, in my reply to my first commenter I linked a really hot Russia/Canada/Cuba fill. Mine will probably be almost nothing like that one. Also, depending on how things go, you might get wimpy fluff here and a full-out multipart takes-ages-to-write fill elsewhere. Gotta keep up with my other fills though. DX

PS if you direct your attention to the post above yours, there is a really hot Cuba/Canada/Russia fill. But that is the only one I know of. DX
