Perception [7/?]

America ran for as long and hard as he could. When he couldn’t run anymore he walked. When he could barely walk he stumbled into an empty alley way. He made his way to the back of the alley, stumbling in his exhaustion. He couldn’t go back home, they’d be looking for him there so he decided to just settle down here until he got his breath back. He slumped against the filthy brick wall of the alley and slid down until he was sitting. America was behind some trashcans so he couldn’t be really seen by anyone walking on the sidewalk. He thought he was safe enough for now and decided that it would probably be a good idea to see if he could catch a nap. He closed his eyes and let his mind wander. A few minutes later, even with the exhaustion, he realized he couldn’t sleep. The insomnia was back.
--
It was dark by the time Russia and England stopped outside a seemingly ordinary alley. But something was just different about this alley so they investigated it and found, huddled in the back, America. He was sitting with his back to the wall behind a garbage can, huddled with his arms crossed and knees to his chest. England rushed to his side and kneeled beside him.
“America?” He questioned anxiously, shaking the younger nation’s shoulder.
“Iggy?” America murmured, turning his head groggily to face England. His clear blue eyes were foggy, his eyelids half closed.
“America, are you alright?” England asked, it was a stupid question but he didn’t’ know what else to say. He felt Russia rather than saw Russia kneel beside him and press an ungloved hand to America’s forehead.
“’m cold.” America mumbled drowsily.
“He has hypothermia.” Russia said. “He’s already stopped shivering; we have to get him someplace warm.” Without waiting for an answer he scooped the nearly unconscious nation up in his arms and turned to England. “Are you coming?” he asked and disappeared.
England sighed angrily. It was bad enough that Russia and America had been in a relationship but now he was trying to take charge of something that should be England’s alone to fix. England was sure that he was the one who had done this to America and he was damn well going to fix it, with Russia in his way or not.

asdfghjkl;' America D:
all these epic eating disorder fills keep reminding me that I still haven't started my own... and what I have to live up to. ;___; WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SO GOOD.
ahem. I really like this fill, anon - I think you're doing a great job capturing just how distressed everyone is over America's state. I want to give him a big ol' hug too, since he's obviously not in a good place right now.
