Muziek (Chapter 1) [1/2] anonymous July 24 2010, 03:55:54 UTC
I am all over this pairing like the Dutch on croquettes or Estonians on rye bread, ohyeah. >D ...Estonians on rye actually sounds kind of--... Nevermind
Chapter 1 of either... 2 or 3. Obviously chapter 2 they'll have their little date and then maybe something about after it. For a human name for Netherlands, I used Willem. I'll try not to use it too often though since I'm iffy on fan names.
I did settle on Netherland's POV though, just to kind of show that while he's doesn't seem too... Overly excited on the outside and kind of controlling, what's going on in his mind .

----

"Mister Holland?"

Immediately, I perked up. The last half hour I had only been staring at my watch, anxious and nervous as I waited for him to arrive to my home. Hurrying to my feet, I wandered over to the door. There was a smile I kept hidden just under the surface. Most other nations would have been too hesitant to go anywhere and discuss 'business' the very second that a home address was given as the place to go. But not Estonia it seemed, not logical, smart, sweet Estonia...

I opened the door to look down at his smiling face, not the least hint of nervousness on it. His head turned upwards to look at me with his large green-blue eyes, and I took a breath, not wanting to speak first.

"Hallo... Am I too early?" Glancing down at my watch to check the time, even though I knew well what it was already, it gave me a reason to shake my head. He was just on time, practically down to the second. He seemed pleased to know this, his shoulders relaxing a bit. Looking him over, I observed the charcoal black suit, perfectly tailored to fit every inch of his body. What was most amusing was the vibrant orange tie he had worn with it, and I was pleased to know it was most likely just a nod to my culture...

"Tere. Come in." Opening the door for him, I wandered back inside myself. I heard as he closed the door, heading further into my home. Hopefully he could appreciate the fact that my home wasn't as large and extravagant as some other nations he knew, even though I could afford it. There was something about smaller spaces that just seemed more comfortable anyways...

When I turned back to him, he seemed to be just looking around as he clutches his laptop case tightly. The suit did look nice on him, but he was obviously too dressed up for where I had in mind tonight.

"So, mister Holland, where should I set up?" Truthfully, it did grate my nerves sometimes to hear other countries call me that. Even though I was aware that was just his name for me in his own language. I gestured to the couch.

"Just set your stuff down. And call me Willem."

The lithe teenager followed my words, thankfully. After setting his laptop case down on the couch, he turned back to me, a bit of apprehension beginning to show across his face. His lips still twitched into a smile, and I was washed with thankfulness that he was used to dealing with intimidating nations like Ivan, Berwald, Ludwig... Maybe that was why he seemed more at ease than most who came into my house.

"Well, thank you, Willem... What exactly was if that you wished to go over?" Giving him a slight shrug in response, I reached down to his coat. As I began to unbutton it, he immediately gave a small jump. He didn't try to get away as I began to unbutton it, a small frown on my face. "We're going out. You're too dressed up." I was often used to dealing with these younger nations. Always they needed to be told what to do, given some guidance here and there. He seemed rather speechless at this, only uttering a small sound of confusion.

"Umn..." When I finished with the coat, I began to pull it off his shoulders for him. "Put it with your other stuff." I muttered, reaching to grab his orange tie. Diligently loosening it, I pulled it away from his neck and untied it as he took off his coat.

Throwing the discarded tie to the couch, I stepped back for a second, still looking him over. He looked like a business man who was in a hurry for work still... Shaking my head, I stepped back up to him, pulling on the bottom of his shirt to un-tuck it from his jeans.

"A-ah! Wait! I... I can do that!" He immediately turned flustered, and I rose an eyebrow as I looked at his face again. Was I going too far or something? His smaller, pale hands pushed mine away, and it took all of my control to not grab his hands just to hold them for a moment.

As he worked at the task on hand, I set my hands on his shirt collar. Unbuttoning the first button, it was then that I realized his breathing was getting a bit heavy. His chest heaved and he bit his bottom lip, watching as I unbuttoned his shirt just enough to be able to pull his collar away. With just a peak of his collar bone and sternum exposed, a small noise of satisfaction finally left my throat. Much better.

There was only one other thing. Placing my palm on his forehead as he looked up at me, I ran my fingers through his trimmed and balanced bangs. Mussing them up, when they fell back against his forehead, the tiny bit of fluff it had added to them was perfect.

“Y'look handsome.” I complimented him finally, only to raise an eyebrow when his face lit up in red. Looking away from me, he seemed to think over a response. Maybe just... Nobody ever told him that before. Or maybe he didn't just expect it from me. I did have a reputation of being more inclined towards females, in particular the younger looking ones, but it didn't mean the compliment I gave him was false. If I hadn't found him attractive, I wouldn't be taking him on a date, right?

“Where... Where were we going?” There was a meek tone in his voice, and he adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose. He cleared his throat, the red color fading away a bit as he turned back to me.

Wrapping an arm around his shoulder snugly, I used just a little force to get him to face the door again. Checking my watch again, I looked back down at him. “You'll like it. Don't worry.”

Even without that actual answer, Estonia nodded. It was good that he trusted me, at least. After having so many people take away your country from you, many people wouldn't have been so willing to go along with someone's plan. Not that he was eager, though...

Suddenly he was out of my grasp. I turned my head down in confusion, watching as the Estonian teen leaned down to gather something in his arms. When he stood back up, I sighed at his inquisitive face before looking back at the bundle in his arms.

“Beatrijs. Who said you could come out?” Scolding my precious little rabbit, I placed my hand on the back of her head. Stroking her fur lightly, I noticed as Eduard's hand did the same to her body as he held her. While Beatrijs didn't give any response to the question besides a twitch of her nose, it did confuse Estonia.

“I didn't know you had a rabbit...” Glancing at him as I continued to pet the white fur, I nodded. “Beatrijs. She doesn't even let Belgium hold her...” The fleeting memories of times when my sister would try to hold her and Beatrijs gave a fit was amusing. It was probably Estonia's calmness that led her to stay the same way. It was rather the admirable trait. Unless he was distinctly cornered by a certain Russian and being blamed for something, I had never seen him anything but calm.

“Well, she seems sweet.” I began to remove her from the younger nation's arms, huddling her close to my scarf like I knew she enjoyed. Taking her over to her cage, I gave a slight shrug in response to the comment about her being sweet.

“Sweet things can still kill you.” As I warned him of this, I swung the door of her cage entirely open. Leaning down to put her inside, I gave her a final pat on the head. Even though she definitely wasn't a blood thirsty little carnivore, it was still amusing to allude to her in this way since most people would believe me. When I did try to joke with people, my serious nature usually made it fly over their heads.

Looking back at him as I finally got the cage shut and locked, the look on his face-now devoid of color-was terribly amusing. Heading back to him, I placed my arm right back over his shoulder. He seemed now not to mind at all, one hand clutching to my tan jacket. “I'm kidding.” I insisted to him, hearing him give a soft sigh in relief.

“...O-oh.”

Giving the smallest of a chuckle, I began to lead him to the door.
