You updated! :D Is jumping up and down with glee when I see this updated too dumb? XD But seriously, I'm really enjoying reading this fill; it's so different in tone from the other I can almost forget they're from the same prompt, but I love your take on it! I'm especially liking seeing the introspective side of America, which is pretty rare; heh, and your France is very enigmatic so far. And your England has given up hope so quietly; his bitterness is really subdued from America's POV, and I think that's a really nice touch.

Ah, and your Japan is so ... subtle and oblique, I guess? He's expressing his concern so delicately but so sincerely, and it's really interesting to watch. Especially since even though America is not quite the right target for subtlety, Japan seems to give him someone to be alone with, if that makes sense? He is the kind of loyal friend that does mind that America is lost in his own thoughts and half-ignoring him, and that lets America work out all kinds of things in his own head, doesn't it? Very cool stuff. :Db Hm, and I like America's little realization that Japan is talking about England as his friend rather than / in addition to him. Seems like America got a different view of all three of them for just a moment there, doesn't it?
