Dude. I love these guys almost as much as I love this fic, anon. <3<3<3<3<3
Pfft, I know this is over-analyzing things horribly but: When France said that "he had never seen such a lovely sight outside of Versailles, does that mean that France thinks he's the most beautiful man in the world? ;D Okay, maybe not, but it made me laugh madly. While also going "d'awww" at Russia thinking "Versailles was the most beautiful place he could imagine." <3
Also, France holding Russia's hand as he's dragging him about to see all the sights that a young boy/adult would find interesting is so adorable. XD Especially the place where the cat and her kittens were. Russia, what the hell? <3 I imagine Russia probably has secret little places like that that he adores today, too. And a soft spot for animals and plants. Which are harder to scare away, sometimes. OTL
And dear god, that last line. <3
I kind of like that you're taking it slow. And even if you update at a snail's pace, that is one sexy snail! ... I think that makes your fic escargot, no?

Well, of course! France thinks he's the most beautiful nation in the world + Russia trying to act like France = France thinking Russia is the second most beautiful nation in the world!
Ah hah hah, I don't know who you are, but I really appreciate your comments. They make my life. I always feel like I'm subconsciously projecting my own loneliness and uncertainty on Russia while writing this, though I try not to. At least Russia gets a happy ending, eventually...
