Watch out, authoranon. If you write such a magnificent Ivan, he's gonna take over your fic in no timeXD (seriously, best thing in the entire story so far; specially that comment about Arthur's eyebrowsXD And, OH GOD, the first year, lol. He was totally humming cheeruflly while doing it)
Arthur's first chapters were absolutely lovely and thought-provoking. Once again, fans manage to give a depth to the Wizarding World that Rowling wishes she could give it. You took elements from the HP canon and wove a complex and fascinating backstory for these characters...and god, really tortured, too. Poor poor Francis, so far the most interesting character (oh, when he declines and dodges Matt's offer in this chapter...poor guy, the last thing animals want is be around a half-veela). I'm very intrigued by his relationship with Arthur, and like an anon above me, I'm shipping it hard; because really, the depth and selflessness and love you've created between them here is breathtakingly beautiful, and I don't know if the twins will be able to bond with them like that from point zero. I also meant to ask about the veela thing...girls are affected, but what about guys? does it affect Arthur, however minimally? (say, when he accidentally stumbles upon Francis naked, for example) And does Francis know how to use his gift of charm and seduction to get things out of people and his best friend?
Arthur is also fascinating; can't wait to see more of the train trio here; I'm marginally curious about the twins, but so far they've failed to catch my interest as much as these three.
