England's been annoyed by America, wants to turn him into a little colony, yadda yadda. Thing is: It doesn't work. Alfred/America is perfectly fine. No signs of de-aging or anything.
The problem is that when England said his spell, he said "the United States are" (plural, i.e. states) vs. "the United States is" (singular, i.e. Alfred).
So, his fifty states/kids have all been de-aged to toddlers (1-31) or babies (32-50)!
Well, as you can imagine, AMERICA IS NOT PLEASED. Especially since there are 50 little kids vying for his awesome attention. And the baby-daddies are feeling the heat to help out and, ah, "take responsibility."
MEGA BONUS: The youngest states (46-50) are aged older to 15-16 yrs.

Mostly England's, except the mid-Atlantic (NY/NJ = Holland, Penn. = Prussia, Delaware = Finland [there were more Finns in New Sweden than Swedes]) States 14 - 31 (Vermont - California) - 12-14 yrs. Most participated in the Civil War period. States 32 - 45 (Minnesota - Utah) 10 - 8 yrs. States 46 - 50 (Oklahoma - Hawaii) 6 - 3 to 4 yrs. The "babies". Born in the 20th century.

He looked around for a bobbing blonde head, and... ah! "Oh, God. That was crazy. You would not believe what Finland and Sweden can do together. Sweden is seriously missing out--crap."
America rubbed his forehead. He was never bottoming again. Ever. And not just because 50 stars looks spiffy.
"Delaware, your daddy is Finland. Or Sweden. Or both... uh. Uh, you take after him, Finland, I mean--"
"Aren't you a him?"
"No--yes--that's not the point. You are going to meet a nice little boy named Sealand and a creepy guy named Sweden. You can tell by his funny hat."
"I'm not four."
"Your mom's not four."
The boy didn't seem to comprehend, but was sent to find random crap to take. And then America wrote 'FINLAND/SWEDEN' in large, dark print on a box, followed closely by a friendly "FUCK YOU." And, with the addition of a few air holes, a burger, and a soda, Delaware was promptly shipped.
America was not sure if that was legal, but a far more pressing matter was... who the bloody hell sired Hawaii?
