why is manipulative!America so fucking hot? seriously. I just about died when he said "I've already won because you admit he is your weakness". DIED, ANON
This is now my headcanon for America having so many kids by so many parents...have England, France, Netherlands and Spain caught up to this strategy, or do they remain oblivious to the way America has them by the ballsXD
Oh, and I have one little complaint: I think the actual seduction of Russia would have been a)an excellent addition to the fic, and more importantly, b)SINFULLY HOT LIKE THE BLAZING PASSION OF SPAIN ♥

Because this fic keeps me thinking and thinking. And wow.
The sheer brilliance of this ultimate pregnancy has blown my brain away; not only does he get something to keep Russia in check and be assured that he'll never attack American soil, also to emotionally blackmail him, and has gotten a new personification both geographically very close to Russia and very rich, but also has split the main communist bloc...and all without losing anything, just by using his charm and SPECIALLY -and here resides the genius of the thing- his superior fertility.
This is...I don't have the words for how utterly realistic this is; apparently, many women in the past one-upwomanshiped each other like this, the one to bear children, specially male -again, another brilliant thing here- were the favourite ones, the most powerful, the one that kept and ruled the man. The fact that America, in a sense, could be considered the young "wife" here, who usually showed up and completely tore apart the old wife's -China- world, unable to bear children so easily and definitely less attractive...god. Even China's insults -calling him a whore, even though he kinda is, hereXD- sound like the usual scathing things old wives shielded behind when this happened.
And America taunting China -here not in his presence, but presumably he did before- about it, just to further deepen the wound...such a jerk asshole, but damn if that's not cruelly intelligent, just to carve his win over China with fire on the poor guy's mind. Because suppose Russia manages to convince China that he still loves him and they get back together...America would never lose the factor that he still has something of Russia that China doesn't have, in a "I can give him something that you could never give him" sort of way. I am sort of morbidly curious about how this would carry on to our days, with the whole "coming into power" by China and America's huge debt...
It seems like all his previous pregnancies and plays were practise for this insanely perfect plot. I'm awed, anon

It means that America doesn't think loving his children is a weakness. He's deriding Russia for thinking of their child as something like that.
What I love about this fic is that America IS manipulative here, and certainly playing his baby daddies, but that he's not doing it because he's a bastard. He's doing it because of what's been done to him.
Think about it: England starts sleeping with him when he's much too young. He strikes back by sleeping with Holland. France and England fought over him and Canada, and separated him from his brother for years. Because of that, he keeps his children from their fathers because he doesn't trust them... and for good reason. He's trying to protect his children, who he loves. And as implied by what he says to Russia, he sees that love as a strength. Those nations didn't get him pregnant because they love him and wanted to be with him, they used him. (France admits America doesn't belong to him and that they have other partners.) Why should they get to claim his children? They USED him, just as much as he did any of them.
