The freedom was just a half of what he wanted; yes, the other half was her. A certain woman with blond hair and bright green eyes, who had raised him, looked after him and… and… made him experienced all these weird feeling.
How could it be?
She supposed to be his family, his mother, his sister… his everything but not included things related to love or lust.
Aaah… what have I become?
When the war ended, he found himself feeling paranoid and irritated. He wanted Igiko to stay here with him, stay here forever. He didn’t want her to return to that small island, next to all those European countries. Those countries might set their eyes on her and take the advantages of her weak condition after the war. He didn’t dare to think further.
The paranoid was getting bigger and bigger toward the day Igiko went back to England.
What could he do to make her stay here with him?
Talking to her? Convincing her?
Nonsense, Igiko would refuse to meet him and backed away a somewhat? one hundred miles before he could open his mouth to say anything.
And thus left him the only option: used force to kidnap her.
He had to have her secure in his hand first and then they would do the talking and convincing.
He had found soldiers, who still bared grudge against English armies, gathered them into a medium troop, and gave them hint how to attack English armies while pretending to be some wild bandits. In the middle of that chaos, he would mingle in, snatch away his Igiko and run straight back to his house.
However, something didn’t go well, like the reaction of the English armies. The ambush was indeed successful and gave the English a stunned shock. But when they discovered their personification had gone missing, they began to panic and went back to the town, demanded the American help finding her or else, they would turn this place into chaos despite that they were being in a pathetic shape. At first, Alfred had strongly object this, given the reason of the war and something about she was English’s concern, not theirs; but in the end, he had to give in, but only agreed to allow a small English troop stayed back in America and continued searching for Igiko.
What a hassle. He would have to be careful with that troop…
He snapped out of his thought when he realized that it was almost time for Igiko to wake up. He went to the room, opened the door and found quite a non lady-like and amusing scene. His Igiko was trying to climb through the window while holding a menacing aura.
Ah, the tornado is coming…
