When England came to he found himself lying where they had been left, wrapped in the stars and stripes. He glanced to his side to find America lying next to him, covered with the union jack. A hand reaching out to touch his face, England smiled at the feel of the curve of America’s jaw beneath his finger.

“…England? You okay?” America’s eyes fluttered open upon the touch.

“These ceremonies always tire me out,” he smiled.

“You’re just getting old.”

Though he nudged America in the ribs, he could not help humming his agreement , pressing his lips to America’s forehead. “Mmm, maybe.”

“What are they talking about?” America shifted, raising himself slightly so that he could see the discussion taking place between the officials in the second half of the hallway.

England shrugged. “Who knows? We’ve done our part for now.”

America turned to him, smiling gently. “For now,” he returned the kiss to the forehead with one of his own.

Do you think if I sent a letter to the white house, that they'd let me sit in on their ... "alliances"? Because if it's half as hot as this, it's hot enough to be worth the trip across the Atlantic.

That was-I don't even-God, HOT. So so damned hot. Words fail me, writeranon. You just fit over 10 kinks of mine into a short fic. That's just...uh...nothing short of amazing.
