( Christmas Reveals )
(After finally somehow managing to getting the whole Iraq/Afghanistan situation under control America retreats a bit from the world scene to deal with his own infra structure back home both politically/culturally/climately but also the actual crumbling infra structure of the roads and such. While doing that he reaffirms his bond with Canada and slowly but surely tries to fix his relationship with Mexico and central/south America. Then moves onwards to strengthen ties with Asia focusing mainly on Japan and China naturally but the rest as well and becoming even bigger BFF's with Australia, he hasn't been pushy in any of this just puts out feelers and follows through with it if they're interested. He's still active on the global scene still an important part of the G8 and the UN and in helping those nation's that still rely on him/ask him for help but he's realized it's time to grow up a take a step back from trying to control everything all of the time. While America's busy with that England has been busy doing his own thing strengthening ties with Europe and ect. Sorry for the extended babble this stuff is mainly just background suggestions as to why they've drifted apart you don't actually have to use any of in the story nor is it specifically part of the request. I hope that makes sense.)
My actual request is -- they have been so busy that they haven't even really noticed that they haven't been hanging out and/or relying on each other quite so much until after one meeting while sitting together drinking at a bar they realize how much they've each missed the other. What happens after that realization is completely up to you rediscovering the friendship, the family bond, something more all are complete fine with me
Bonus: England is really proud of how grown up America has become.
