France/America (Dowry) - 7/? CON`T anonymous May 2 2010, 08:11:20 UTC
He closed the book with a snap, startling America who had been spell-bound at his words.

“I - I want to hear more,” America demanded, his cheeks flushed.

“In time,” France assured him, setting the book to the side. He tugged on America`s wrists and used the leverage to roll them over onto the mattress. America blinked, his eyelashes fluttering a moment as he reached up to tentatively finger a strand of loose, wavy hair. France grinned down at him. “But how am I to resist you when your eyes shine like that?”

Embarrassed, America looked away. Remembering the threat from last night, he chewed on his bottom lip worriedly. “Prussia said he would eat our breakfast if we were late.”

“And start the war without us. Yes, I know.” France tugged off America`s nightshirt and tossed it off to the side anyways. “Should it come to that, I promise I personally will prepare you the very best breakfast you`ve ever had.”

~~End Part 7~~

Notes: Sorry this part was so short! Consider it an interlude until the next? Following parts will most likely be posted in Post-Part Fills III.

John Locke was an Enlightenment philosopher whose writings are believed to influenced both the American and French revolutions, as is Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Other influential writers include Voltaire, Francis Bacon, the baron de Montesquieu, and of course, ye olde Thomas Paine.

I love this fic so much <3
Now you have Rousseau and Locke! Curiously, I've never seen those two brought up in any fic before, which is weird, as the fic notes prove. America was lovely, being entranced, flushed and with bright eyes, when he hears their theories. How could France resist that, of course? I feel a bit cheated that we didn't get the sexytiems in detail, though *pout*

I like that America woke up feeling so great and loving. Great fic, hoping for a quick update! ^^

This whole story is just so incredibly sexy. I love your France. And now I want to re-read Locke and Rousseau, whom I haven't read in years.

Looking forward to the next part!
