But Latvia had given himself over willingly today. And even though it may have been only to cover up a forgotten gift, that still counted as something. So, while Russia could do what he wanted to Latvia… tonight he would choose to be kind. He kissed the boy’s neck, relishing the small tremor it caused, and then reached down to his cock. But before he took it in his hand, he grabbed a loop of the bow he had tied there earlier and tugged until it was undone and fell loose. “That caused you some trouble, I think.” Russia murmured into his ear with a low laugh.

Reflexively Raivis cringed when he saw it, and he began to shake slightly when Russia looked in his direction.

Russia seemed not to notice. He grabbed Raivis lightly and pulled him over, then took hold of the wrapping paper - which was now tattered, wrinkled and torn. He tore into it like he would any other present and tossed it off the bed onto the floor. That left the matter of the ribbons, which was what the knife was for. “Hold still, if you move I might cut you…” Was the only warning Russia gave before he silently got to work on them, cutting away until Latvia was free.
The boy sat up tentatively and rubbed his arms. The ribbon had left angry red indents in his skin from where it had dug in, making him look like he was still decorated in ribbons for Russia. It seemed like Ivan had noticed too - he was smiling before turning around to put the knife back in the drawer. It felt good to move around again, even if Latvia was sore and over half his body was asleep. He stretched his legs out in front of him and sighed.
Unfortunately, his new found freedom wasn’t to last. “Come here, Raivis~” Russia said softly. He pulled Latvia back into his lap, wrapped his arms around him and laid down once again. He kissed the top of Latvia’s head and pulled the covers over them both. It was quiet for a long while, but a voice broke the silence. “Um…M-Mr. R-Russia?” Latvia murmured sleepily, looking up at Russia to see if he was already asleep.
“Hm? What is it?” Russia whispered back, sounding equally tired. His eyes were closed.
“I was wond…ah, uh…it’s nothing. Never mind.” He felt his cheeks burning and knew that he was blushing.
Russia opened his eyes to look down at him. He affectionately brushed some hair off of the Baltic’s forehead. “Come on, tell me… What is it?”
“…I was just wondering if you liked your present…”
Russia chuckled and Latvia could feel his chest rumbling.
“I loved it. I wouldn’t mind getting the same thing next year…” He kissed Latvia’s head again and closed his eyes. “But shh, quiet now. Let’s go to sleep.”
“Right. Goodnight…” Latvia agreed, feeling tears welling up in his eyes. Russia had said that he loved him… Well, maybe not exactly. But in Latvia’s mind, the statement was close enough that it made his heart skip a beat. He snuggled closer to Russia and closed his eyes as well, and they both drifted off to sleep.

I feel like I was the one who got a gift! ♥ Eleven fucking chapters of pure awesome. And on top of being a really good story overall, your dialogue stood out as being especially good.
