He calmed down surprisingly quickly, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath before his muscles relaxed under America's fingers. He calmly brushed his ruffled hair out of his face, flashing an uneasy smile at America. "Sorry, Mister Jones. I was out of line, aru."
America stared suspiciously for a few minutes at the "Mister Jones," but deemed it safe enough to return behind the desk. Yao crossed his legs, clamping his hands over the shaking leg to still it. "My leaders are in charge of a lot of things, and because copyright laws are getting stricter I have more time free."
Sceptical eyebrow. "So you're at school here. . . for vacation?"
"Aiyah, no, not vacation, not for me," Yao sighed, just a hint of wistfullness in his tone. "Don't tell Hu jintang about this, but. . ."
America dug through his memory. England made fun of him for not watching the news channel more often, and he had to admit, as a nation he wasn't that well up on the details of world affairs. "Hu, that's your president, right? There's a joke about that."
Yao sent him an unfriendly glare, and America let him continue. "Don't tell Mister Chinese President about this, aru. But lots of my people come here for school, and they seem to have a lot of fun here. I thoart I could. . ." here he blushed and averted his gaze, embarrassed, ". . . learn something, aru. From you."
America turned that sentence over in his mind, thinking through the implications to smooth out misinterpretations. Slowly, he smirked.
He could quite easily boast about his own greatness right now, but decided it was perhaps not the best way to talk to the guy he owed money to. "How do you like it so far?" he said instead, leaning forward. He was a counselor, after all. And this boy was, for today, his student.
A smile managed to sneak onto Yao's face. "Your teachers are very open, they plan every lesson in advance and put their energy to students' understanding and interest. Students have lots of strong opinions and say whatever they want to the teacher, and it's usually okay."
America nodded eagerly to each point. "That's what I'm about, yup."
Yao nodded. "You have good system here, aru. Kor-- I mean, Yunsoo even says he thought of it first."
This made them both burst into small giggles for a minute. "Oh, is he here too?" America asked in between supressed snorts.
Yao's face turned red again, even as he continued laughing. He put his fingers to his lips playfully. "Shh, Mister Jones. Don't tell."
"Just how many of us are running around my education system in secret?"

Arrrrrgh, how embarrassing! Author!Anon is an idiot who seriously did not do the research. The name of Mister Chinese President should be Hu Jin Tao, not what I wrote up there. Extremely sorry for any who might have gotten confused, Anon is soooo embarrassed about this! D:
