Re: [Part 6] England/America - It's okay for heroes to cry at times too [5/7] anonymous September 7 2009, 18:55:34 UTC
In the end however, America wasn’t able to not care about England. But he still didn’t know what to do and he was lost, not to mention how down he felt.

He missed England and he wanted his attention back, he wanted those amazingly green eyes to properly look at him again. He felt so abandoned.

Usually he was very careful when glancing at England during the meetings (he couldn’t let the other man notice how he adored him with his eyes, of course) but now he didn’t really care, and he simply stared at the said Englishman while idly leaning his other cheek to his palm.

And seriously, the last straw that made the insides of his stomach turn upside down was the sight of England and France, fucking France talking with each other calmly, almost friendly. No yelling, no hitting or kicking, no fighting and there was even a playful smirk on England’s face.

That’s it. America gives up. If England and France - the two nations known to fight for centuries over any pointless matter - were getting along better than he was with England, and if the older nation gave more attention to France than him..

What else was he supposed to do than give up? He let out a shaky breath and buried his face into his hands resting on the table now.

And once again he missed the silent gaze aimed at his direction.
