Ivan stared at Alfred in shock.
“Yes, that’s what I should do!” Alfred said cheerfully. “After all, it’ll ensure that you can’t rape me or anyone else ever again!”
He picked the knife out of the table and stabbed another part of the table.
“Hey, Russia?” He asked curiously.
“Y-yes?” Ivan said with a smile.
“Did you ever make Lithuania and the others say “thank you”, like you did with me?”
“…what?”
“Remember? After you were done, you made thank you for raping me. I know. Everyone else made me thank them, too.”
He sounded like a child who was revealing something he thought that no one else knew.
“Alfred, please…” Arthur said desperately, trying to avoid looking at Alfred. “Please, just stop.”
“Why? It’s the truth.” Alfred said in an annoyed tone. “Or are you that in denial of your own guilt?”
“That’s not-” Arthur began.
“I suppose next you’re going to deny the assault even happened?”
“Alfred, I-”
“Funny how people keep calling me that.”
“What are you-”
“I mean, even I’m not sure anymore.” Alfred sighed as he stabbed the table again, not noticing Ivan’s flinch. “Am I really Alfred F. Jones, the “hero”? Could I be Matthew pretending to be Alfred? Or maybe this is Alfred’s body, possessed by a demon?”
“…what?”
“That would certainly make sense.” Alfred ignored Arthur and continued his musing, all the while stabbing the table. “I mean, surely a hero wouldn’t take revenge so violently? And he’d never find it amusing!”
“Alfred-san…” Kiku said quietly.
“And I doubt Matthew would be up to something like this! He’s always been the timid one, you know.” Alfred said to Ivan, as though he weren’t dangerously close to removing the latter’s manhood.
“America…” Ludwig said, speaking for the first time since his own punishment.
“So I guess I can’t be anything BUT a demon…”
“ALFRED-SAN!”
Alfred looked at Kiku, then gazed down at the knife. So far he’d stabbed several parts of the table and cut a few holes in Ivan’s pants. It looked like he’d drawn blood, too.
“Alfred-san…” Kiku began, not wanting Alfred to continue what he’d been doing. “I haven’t had a chance to say it, but… I’m sorry.”
Kiku heard something fly by his face, then hit the metal wall behind him. He blinked, then realized that Alfred was holding his arm in a position as though he’d just thrown something. Kiku gulped as he realized that it was the hand that had held the knife.
“You know, you said those words before.” Alfred noted. “A long time ago. And I believed you.”
Kiku’s eyes widened.
“Obviously you lied back then. You’re lying to me now.” Alfred said coldly. “You’re only “sorry” because I’m taking you to task.”
Kiku bit his lip and closed his eyes. He heard Alfred stand up from the table.
“Tell me, Kiku.” Alfred said in an inquiring voice. “If you feel so guilty over what you did to me…”
Kiku felt Alfred grab his chin. Startled, he opened his eyes.
“Then why didn’t you stop when I was screaming for you to stop?”

Oh anon, as much as I love seeing insane!Alfred, I still fear for the others. And Kiku, I have a feeling he will be next O.o

The tension was so thick a knife could cut through it.
Although I get why Kiku would try to apoligize, Alfred had a point.
Kiku apologized before for Pearl Harbor, the Bataan Death March and the treatment of American soldiers in their camps.
After him being saying sorry for so many things, I would problems believing him.
In fact, I would furious. How he say he's sorry now that I'm taking revenge! I would believe he's sorry because I'm about to do something awful to him. That would make me very angry, and I would "see" if he's truly sorry.
No one saw me deanon....

I know people have mentioned it in comments on other chapters, but parts of this are giving me severe flashes of Higurashi. Alfred's possessed by a demon, eh? So much Shion, but so little anyone else... I'll take what I can get!
Is it normal that I feel all warm and fuzzy inside at the mention of things like this?
