this trip to NY didn't turn out as planned
Upside, I should be in Canada or on my way there now. My grandma and grand uncle both had to go to the hospital. They're both released now, my uncle needs oxygen and he's not pleased cuz it's gonna cramp his style. And Grandma may need a pacemaker later on.
I haven't seen my grand uncle in ages. He has these scans of him in the Gleaner with tons of famous people. He has plenty so I took one, gonna scan it when I get back home. He and his bro own a printery in St Ann's Bay that was used by Marcus Garvey. The building and press are still there.
Surprisingly, I miss Jacksonville, as boring as it is. I like NY but I don't. It has this dirty look and feel to it. But I do like that there's lot of immigrants and I can find real Jamaican stuff.
Gonna spend tomorrow with my cousin, do more sight seeing and stuff.
