Friend's post on tumblr reminded me I haven't done a TV post in awhile. Spoilers ahead, like duh.
Let's start with XIII: the series, I started and kept watching just for Aisha, the show is terrible, if you're gonna watch it make sure your FF button works.
Falling Skies - such a disappointment I honestly did not even finish watching the first eppy and I have not seen any reviews or recommends to change my mind. It's just your typical post apocalyptic show, with nothing new.
Alphas - I barely finished this. Dear sci-fi show writers, thanks for including black people but must we always be muscle? As much as I love Stargate and SGA it always bothered me that the three black people were aliens from different planets and were all muscle type characters. And the icing on the cake is that he's an FBI agent used to working with other armed FBI agents so yes he's rightly concerned about going into the field with unarmed and untrained civilians so why is it written like a whiny kid who's been denied chocolate? As for the whole unorthodox sub group of the FBI doing specialist work, Breakout Kings does it better. I'm gonna give them two more eppies to win me over.
Futurama - Love it, love the jokes and the science. The Fresnel and Schrodinger's cat bit were cool.
Leverage - Thank you baby Jesus! I flove this show! I only watch for my OT3 Hardison/Parker/Eliot. I like Sophie but she's normally stuck with the black hole that's Nate and his drawn out drinking. The Nate stuff sucks! It's time for his character to move on. Keep up the great work with my OT3 though, they are definately the highlights of any episode.
Torchwood - Alexa Havens in my Torchwood? I look at her and still see Babe and the usual rage follows. And Mekhi's character reminds me of the one he played in Lie To Me. Needs more Jack, love everything Gwen & Rhys. Their baby! So cute. I love the story, can't wait to see how everything comes together.
Sirens - Love it, the writing is ace and my fave is Ashley. Can't believe Stuart didn't figure out that he's Ashley's ICE.
Luther - I hope there's a 3rd season, I loved season 2. The bad guys were great. I especially loved the twin terrors. Two people randomly going out doing mass damage? That is scary. I also loved Erin Grey and that she did not just hop on the crazy train. I smiled when I learnt she actually filed a report and not just blindly trust Ripley's "I'll handle it." I like how she's written, she values her job and her reputation and I'd be disappointed if she's all fuck it, I'll blindly follow this dude. And she's right, Luther was shadily doing shady stuff. There better be a season 3. I can't imagine that boss lady just backing off John because of a threat of some imaginary friend.
Suits - During episode 2, I honestly can't say what it was exactly but that's when I stopped and deleted the eppies. There's something about the writing that irks me greatly.
Franklin & Bash - Loves it! It's amusing and entertaining.
State of Georgia - I love you Raven but this show is not it.
Law & Order UK: I miss James. I'm gonna like the new guys but I miss James.
I still have Game of Thrones and Shadow Line on my to watch list. I started watching SL but wasn't paying attention so I turned it off. I have no excuse for waiting on GoT. Gonna wait on a lazy Sunday and just watch the whole thing.
