got a blast from the past yesterday
Yesterday, Germaine called me! Germaine is my brother from another mother. We've had some rough times but it's apparently good now. He has a daughter! Jason's getting divorced, Renee's had a baby and Dwayne's trying. So we know where that talk went but he wasn't obnoxious like most people are. I think he's in NY but he maybe moving to Atlanta, so is Jason. Quite a few of my fam and friends are moving there.
Anyhoo, today was long day. Went to Dim Sum and one of his co-workers Ian, nice fellow. It was fun, I really missed the food, can't believe I took so long to go back. We're supposed to plan a BBQ but, no one seems to think it'll go beyond planning but we'll see.
Spent the rest of the day with Kamilah, going round and distributing her birthday cake.
