Title: Love Me Back
Characters: France/England
Challenge: 8- Music
Bonus Words: soft
Rating: PG
Summary: Bonnefoy and Kirkland don't exactly hate each other.
Baby love me back today.
Never ever sink my ship and sail away.
It wasn't that Captain Bonnefoy was weak. No, his crew knew better than to think such a thing. They had seen the pirate strike down his enemies without a second thought, seen him ravage cities and burn towns with no remorse. Captain Bonnefoy was incredibly strong. However, he was also in love, which caused him to always falter when he faced his pirating rival, Captain Kirkland, out on the open seas.
Their fights were always particularly nasty, though the crew on both ships were fully aware that Bonnefoy and Kirkland never actually tried killing each other. Neither of them saw any problem in the death of their sailors, but when one of them was in danger, the other would draw back and retreat.
And then there were those times when the two would meet at a pub, both slightly drunk (Kirkland always more so than Bonnefoy) and willing to express more emotions than just their phony hate.
“You like me,” Bonnefoy would always whisper, sitting oh-so-close to Kirkland. “I know it. Do not lie, mon ami.”
Kirkland would then growl out a hushed response, something the men could never pick up on.
“Like me like I like you,” the French pirate would continue before planting a soft kiss to Kirkland's forehead. “Just hop onto my ship, ma chérie. I'll make you fly.”
Once those words were uttered, Kirkland and Bonnefoy would suddenly be attacking each other with their hands and lips while their crew members would softly chuckle or roll their eyes, wondering just when Kirkland and Bonnefoy would realize what everyone else already knew.
Hop on to my ship, baby I’ll make you fly
You love me and you know that baby, don’t you lie
Like me like I like you and say
Na naninaninanina, na nananinaninananana na na
A/N: I was able to listen to music while taking my AFM exam this morning and once Can Bonomo's Love Me Back came on, this idea was formed. I probably failed the test in an attempt to write it all down, but it was worth it. Totally worth it. XD I wouldn't have passed, anyway. Once I saw the test, I died.
