[Drabble Challenge No. 4] My Screw Up
Title: My Screw Up

Summary: APH x Scrubs; Alfred, a doctor, finds himself at a loss when a mysterious patient dies.

The first sign: he wasn't bald anymore.
"You don't have on that stupid wig," Alfred laughed, offering him a grin. Kiku warmly smiled back.
"I don't. Not today."
"For the celebration?"
"Yes." He nodded slightly, wincing in pain a bit from the sudden motion. "Listen. You need to forgive yourself for what happened yesterday."
The second sign; he shouldn't know about what happened. He was getting treated when that patient died - the one he had yet to figure out the name of.
"Sure, sure. Whatever." He smirked. "You're so annoying, you know that?" Jones sighed, taking a nice, deep breath. "Okay."
"Good."
Then he stood up straighter and asked, "Did you bring your camera? Aren't you gonna take some pictures?"
Arthur came from behind them, interrupting their conversation. "Pictures of what?"
The third sign.
"You know, cake, ice cream, song-singing, you know, the whole routine!"
He paused. "Where do you think we are?"
The American turned around, a large grin on his face, and Kiku was gone. Disappeared.
The fourth sign. He was the dead patient.
The American didn't speak a word, but instead joined him in looking up. It was probable that it would rain. They started walking to their seats, sitting down in front of a large bouquet of Chrysanthemums. As time passed, the chairs filled up, but they sat in the same way; legs spread apart, their hands in their laps. As the hours passed, little sprinkles plopped down to their ground, soaking the well-dressed guests until the funeral ended.
6:00 PM, and Alfred was still looking on, his face red.
