Title: Her Gentleman Pirate
Characters: Belgium, England
Challenge: Challenge 17: Hunger
Bonus Words: Attention, Power, Companionship, Happiness
Rating: PG13
Summary: Belgium can’t wait to be alone with her gentleman pirate…
For Missy…
Belgium looked across the boardroom and smiled at him. Raising her hand to her lips, she giggled softly at his reaction to her covert attention. Her sweet, gentleman pirate’s cheeks were dusted with pink and Belgium thought England never looked more adorable as he paused in his speech to regain his composure. She glanced around at her fellow countries, pleased that none of them seemed to notice. They had, through the years, been keeping their love affair so low-keyed that everyone assumed they were just good friends. Only her brother, Netherlands, knew the real depths of their friendship. How it was the easy companionship of lovers that had been together for so long that their hearts practically beat as one.
She watched as he exchanged places with Germany at the podium, before taking his seat. Belgium giggled at the annoyed expression he wore over some trivial comment France made as he sat down. She sighed softly, thinking back to last night and the feel of his strong arms around her and the power that seemed to radiate off of him as he gently made love to her until the wee hours of the morning. Belgium licked her lips as she recalled his delicious kisses and tender touch, and the feelings of happiness she had this morning when she woke up in his arms.
Belgium let her gaze wander during Germany’s speech, noting the uneasy looks and the silent nods of assent as he right about the situation. When she met England’s eyes nothing else mattered except her gentleman pirate. She smiled, wishing it was time for lunch as she was hungry for his love. Judging by the quick smile he flashed her, he felt the same. Belgium sat there, counting down the minutes, until they could slip away together…

Summary: Holy Roman Empire has got it bad where Chibitalia is concerned…
For Vexed…
Even though he would always deny it, Holy Roman Empire hungered for Chibitalia’s attention. He sat there, ignoring her as best he could, but deep down inside he was hoping she would notice him and ask for help with one of her numerous little problems, or just spend time with him in companionable silence while she went about her chores and he read his book.
As if on cue, Chibitalia appeared, her broom in hand. She smiled sweetly at him when he looked up from his book and he felt his cheeks heating up from the happiness he always felt in her prescience.
“Are you okay, Holy Roma?” she said softly as she approached. Not waiting for a reply she placed a cool hand on his forehead. “At least you don’t have a fever again.”
“Yeah…” Holy Roman Empire winced at how lame he sounded, not that she seemed to notice. “Um…?”
“What?”
“I-it looks like I’ll being going to war after all.” Holy Roman Empire frowned at the worried expression on her face.
“But you’re not better yet!” Chibitalia cried. “You could get very sick again and who would look after you?” Her eyes welled up with tears.
“There’s no need to worry, I’ll be just fine.” She’s worried about me!
“But I can’t help it; Holy Roma… is the lust for power that great that you would neglect your health?”
Holy Roman Empire sighed. “No… Yes… I don’t know. I just know I need to do this. Please don’t cry, Chibitalia, I’m only doing it to get stronger! You know, so I’ll be here for you always…” He wiped away her tears with his fingertips.
“Yeah…?”
“Yeah…” He leaned in and kissed her as she threw her arms around him.
“Be safe and please hurry back.”
“I will…”
Title: Training Session
Characters: Italy, Germany
Challenge: Challenge 17: Hunger
Bonus Words: Attention, Power, Companionship, Happiness
Rating: G
Summary: Germany and Italy decide to spend the morning training…
Italy stood at attention while Germany paced back and forth as he went over their training schedule for the day. He marveled at the happiness that radiated off his friend over something as simple as barking orders. Even though they had put behind them the horrors of WWII, Germany still had a side of him that echoed the old military power of the past. Italy knew he still waged war, but it was in the more genteel setting of the boardroom, where he fought to bring the rest of Europe in line so they could stop drowning in their economic woes. It was not easy to rise above his past and become strong again without arousing suspicion. Italy was very proud of his friend and if it meant spending a companionable Sunday morning out running around the track, instead of lazing in bed, then so be it. Besides, they always finished a training session with a trip to their favorite gelato place.
“Ready, Italy?”
“Yes, sir!” Italy saluted. He smiled at the hunger he saw in his friend’s eyes and he wondered if had to do with his desire to start running laps or his desire to do things of a more intimate nature. Whatever it was, it was quickly gone when they began jogging at a slow steady pace to warm up.
Germany quickened their pace after a mile and he was pleased to note Italy kept abreast of him, instead of falling behind. While he jogged every morning, back home, through the streets with his brother and the dogs, there was something about running with his little buddy that was much more satisfying. He did not know if it was Italy’s damp brow and face pink with exertion, but whatever it was, he liked it and Italy too…
Title: Sparring Partners
Characters: Germania, Roma
Challenge: Challenge 17: Hunger
Bonus Words: Attention, Power, Companionship, Happiness
Rating: PG13
Summary: Roma wants to spar with his friend Germania…
The sword pointed at his nose certainly got Germania’s attention, Roma noted with satisfaction. He was the great and powerful Roman Empire and no upstart little excuse for a nation was going to mess with him. The fact that Germania stood a half a head taller than him was immaterial.
Germania rolled his eyes at his companion. “Put that thing away,” he said as he reached up and pushed the tip of the sword away with his bare hand. “And sit down and finish your lunch.”
Roma snorted. “I’m not hungry.”
“Okay…” Germania helped himself to another piece of cheese and a hunk of bread.
“What are doing?”
“Eating lunch.” Germania looked up at him.
It was all Roma could do not to take his hand and run it down his face as he sighed. Sheathing his sword, he sat down next to his friend. “Hey! Don’t eat all the cheese!” he cried as he reached for the hunk in Germania’s hand.
A smile slowly spread across Germania’s face. “Thought you weren’t hungry.” He handed over half of the cheese.
“I wasn’t, but I am now.” Roma took it and began to eat.
Germania snorted in amusement. Figures the smartass would have a dumbass answer… “If it’ll make you happy, I’ll spar with you after lunch.”
“Yeah?”
Germania nodded.
“And can we do other stuff too?”
“Like pillaging and plundering?” Germania flashed him a brief smile.
“If you insist.” Roma picked up the skin of wine and drank from it. He passed it to his friend.
“Sounds like a plan.” Germania drank form the skin. “I knew there was a reason why I liked you.”
“Yeah…?” Roma leaned in for a kiss and Germania met him halfway, thoughts of different kind of sparring dancing in their heads…
Title: Achtung, Brüder!
Characters: Germany, Prussia
Challenge: Challenge 17: Hunger
Bonus Words: Attention, Power, Companionship, Happiness
Rating: G
Summary: Germany realizes that no matter how long they had been apart; things had not changed between him and his brother at all…
For Lynne…
Germany walked into the den and sighed. After some forty odd years of being apart from his brother, and hungering for the easy companionship they once shared, Germany wondered if it had been too long for them to repair the damage done after the War. Then again, the thought of his brother moving out and living on his own saddened him. If their happiness depended on his overlooking some of his brother’s more annoying transgressions, then so be it. He figured if Austria could put up with his brother’s nonsense all those years ago, he could too. Besides, the sight of the great and once powerful Prussia sprawled asleep on the sofa, along with the dogs and Germania Gatto while the TV flickered in the background, was oddly heartwarming.
A brief smile tugged his lips upwards as a devious thought crossed Germany’s mind. He strode over to the sofa, standing just off to the side. Ignoring the dogs and the cat, who had the good sense to get off the sofa; Germany folded his arms across his chest. Taking a deep breath, he barked, “Achtung!!” and nearly died laughing at the result.
Prussia’s eyes flew open and he seemed to leap to his feet in an instant. He stood stiffly at attention as centuries of discipline kicked in. It was several minutes before his sleep fogged brain realized he was at home and the quivering officer in front of him was simply his brother, quaking with silent laughter. “Very funny, West,” he rasped, relaxing his body.
“Sorry, Brüder, I just couldn’t resist.”
“Just like you can’t resist making me pancakes for breakfast?” Prussia smirked.
“Fair enough.” Heading towards the kitchen, Germany suddenly realized that no matter how long they had been apart; things had not changed between them at all.
Title: Sleep With Me
Characters: Prussia, Frederick II
Challenge: Challenge 17: Hunger
Bonus Words: Attention, Power, Companionship, Happiness
Rating: PG13
Summary: Frederick wants to sleep with Prussia…
Prussia lounged lazily in bed; Frederick snuggled up at his side. Somewhere along the line, their friendship had deepened into companionship so strong; one was rarely seen without the other at his side. Even though Frederick’s wife hungered for that sort of attention from her estranged husband, she knew the man known as Gilbert Beilschmidt made her husband happy and that’s all that counted. Since Prussia was not exactly a mistress, nor was he a power hungry sycophant, he was easy to dismiss and that suited the two just fine.
“Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?” Frederick murmured sleepily.
Prussia raised an eyebrow. “Ich dachte, du wolltest mich stattdessen ficken,” he smirked.
“Too tired…” Frederick was hard pressed to suppress a yawn.
“Aaah… well, then, I suppose we could just sleep,” Prussia teased.
Frederick playfully smacked him. “Please, Gilbert?”
“And now you’re begging me! Damn, I’m a lucky man, eh?” Prussia leaned over to kiss the top of his head.
“If you say so…” Frederick murmured sleepily.
“Süße Träume, Fritzchen meine Liebe.” Sweet dreams, Fritzchen my love…
“You too…” Frederick murmured softly in French as he drifted off to sleep, wrapped in Prussia’s arms.
