Why This Must Be Read: The fics opens on the interesting premise that Regina doesn't cast the curse,as she heeds her father's pleas to abandon her quest for vangeance, so Rumpelstiltskin has to. He takes Belle's heart... but gives her a piece of his so she can live, and this single point of difference creates Whole a different universe than moves in parallel with canon for several seasons (we are up to an AU Season 4 so far) with a beautifully intricate plot and even more beautifully intricate relationships. Graham gets to live and the steady growth of his relationship with Emma is a true delight that reaches its zenith when he follows the gang in the rescue mission to Neverland. Henry is adopted by Mary Margaret and David Nolan, a quiet and meek couple that basically adopts Emma when Henry drags her into town and this particular point of divergence creates the basis for the very best part of the fic - a very layered and constantly eveolving, very well-written Charming Family.Regina too, gets to become part of the family -gradually- and to redeem herself becoming a White hat... all while keepiing her father much longer. Belle and Gold too, have a very complex dymamic in the story, as she never stops trying to save him, but she also gets more assertive and involved with the rest of the group. Just ... 114 chapters of awesome, and i wish this was the real show. I might reread this fic every day and never get tired.

Why This Must Be Read: A fantastic AU piece where' Geppetto finishes the chest on time, and Life happens to Emma and Mary Margaret Swan'. Mother and daughter grow together and it's adorable to watch. There's even a feeling of enchentament that is woven all through their adventures, since both Emma and Mary Margaret remain tied to the magic of their other land, and they are both a bit witchier for it.

Why This Must Be Read: Based on Season 2 of Teen Wolf, the story introduces Boyd and Lydia as the reincarnation of fairytale land characters Lancelot and Guinevere, who are suddenly awokened to the memories of their other lives. Lydia is the narrating voice and so IC I buyed the premise with no difficulty whatsoever. I could really feel for her situation within the context too, as the memories of the past come with a lot of self-loathing, due to the fact Guinevere is someone whose choices and whose misery she hates. Still, she comes slowly to a point where she and Boyd can work out those issues together, and it's beautiful. Beautiful too, is the describing of the magic Lydia inherits from Guinevere, and how it flows into Lydia developing a relationship with the land and accepting her past as a living part of her self.
