Why This Must Be Read: THIS. IS SO. FUCKING. CUTE. I basically spent the ENTIRETY of my time reading this screaming into my pillow BECAUSE IT IS SO FUCKING CUTE. This is a no powers AU where Jane is still a Nobel Prize winning astrophysicist, but Thor is a trainer at the gym where she trains with Sif. AND IT WAS EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE WANTED OUT OF A FAKE DATING STORY. Omg, Jane! JAAAAAANE. I loved this Jane so much, smart and strong and still completely in love with SCIENCE! And Thor could not be more swoonworthy and adorable and worthy of being Jane's fake boyfriend. There are some fantastic and clever cameos from the MCU cast and I liked the depth that was given to all the characters in this story, especially Jane's mom, who could've been that cliche "BUT WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE ME GRANDBAAAAAAABIES?!" caricature BUT WASN'T. This story was funny and romantic and angsty and moving and I PROMISEPROMISEPROMISE YOU that you WILL NOT REGRET reading this!

Look, what's the point of having a law enforcement officer as a boyfriend if you can't enjoy some kinky role play? This was hot and sweet and it's kind of hilarious to watch these two awkwardly but gamely trying to keep the scenario going.
