Why This Must Be Read:Author's description: Despite Danny's less than affectionate relationship with the ocean, it was inevitable that any children bearing the Kalakaua name would be, (at the very least), half dolphin. Join the family as they undertake a beloved tradition, celebrating the baby's first dip in the waves. Oh my goodness, this is the most delightfully fluffy story. It is basically Danny and Kono and a whole bushel of kids!

Why This Must Be Read:Author's description:A test drive of a friend's boat leads to trouble when the boat experiences mechanical issues. The resulting explosion deafens Danny. Irene Claire is one of my favorite authors in the Hawaii 5-O fandom. She does a great job with writing the team as family, (which I love) plus the h/c is always on point with just enough hurt with lots of comfort. This story has both of those in spades! Also the author gives us an OC by the name of Tara who is a well rounded character that is not a Mary Sue. The relationship between Danny and Tara feels organic and real and you will find yourself rooting for them before the end. It is a well written story, that I have read more then once and thoroughly enjoyed each time!
