Why This Must Be Read: What I loved about this story is that Julian rather then waiting for Charlotte in France goes to England to find her. Which considering he visits a London virtually destroyed by war and given the fact he doesn't even know her real name proves to be a rather difficult task. It is a great alternate ending that is a joy to read.

Why This Must Be Read:Author's description: It was strange being in love with someone who doesn't exist. Julien is waiting for a woman he knows as Dominique. I love this movie so I was very glad to see there was fanfiction for it. This story is told from Julian's pov as he tries to rebuild his life after the war. He is also dealing with the realization the woman he loves may not even exist. It is well written and his reunion with Charlotte is awkward and yet still very lovely.
