Why This Must Be Read: This is one of my favorite Pepperony fics. It’s mostly a look at Tony, admittedly, but it’s still a beautiful look at the pair of them as Tony works through his hesitations and personal history regarding family and children. The rest of the Avengers are around, too, in that casual post-Avengers-living-in-the-Tower configuration that has generated many a lovely team fic, and the results are very appealing indeed.
