Why This Must Be Read: Okay, so I've read a lot of Roswell fic. A lot. This is one of the most original, interesting takes on a retelling of the series that I've ever come across. I LOVE how Liz is such an unreliable narrator. I also love how young and messed up she comes across. Not because of any giant stressor, but because she is young, and that? Can sometimes MESS YOU UP. I love the slow burn of this story and how it meanders when you don't want it to, but sometimes cuts straight to the point. It can (and does) turn on a dime, but the organic nature of it is just breathtaking.

Genre: Friendship, romance, adventure, suspense, action, aliens, retelling, AU.
WIP?: All stories are complete!
Why This Must Be Read: This is probably my favorite "maybe this could have happened!" after the season 1 finale. It's a gangbuster of an ensemble piece. It's smart, extensive, plotty, and honestly everything I wished the last two seasons of the show could have been. Also, Tess is awesome, and anything that lets Tess be the awesome she is? SOLD.

WIP?: Complete!
Why This Must Be Read: Something that's come to bother me as I've aged (and gone out of the age-bracket that the Roswell cast was in when it aired) was how poorly the parents got treated in the run up to and in the finale. This is an absolutely gorgeous follow-up to the end of the series, only told from the side of the B-Team. Namely Jeff Parker, and all of those left behind to try and mop up the mess. UGH, this is epic and beautiful, and omg AVA.
